It's the so-called "best defensemen" that are getting beat. McAvoy got beaten behind the net that led to a goal and then Carlo whiffed on a puck instead of bodying Knies that led to another goal. They're losing the 1-on-1 battles.

The regular season product is suffering. There’s too much parity and it seems like there are a lot of players are playing in way that ensures that they can get to the playoffs healthy.

@curiousbrowza they dominated the league the past 5 years and lost in the playoffs because lack of character....this will help them if they make the playoffs which right now they would so as long as they stay in position im all for teams underestimating the bruins. The opposite never worked for them. Couldn't handle the diversity because they werent used to it. They will be able to this year.

Beecher hasn't scored on half a season. On Dec 1st he declined an invitation to fight Xhekaj, he skated away with a smile on his face. Nothing could show more guts than accepting a fight from a tough guy when you know you will get beat up. That outweighs any result from the fight. How can Beecher look at his teammates in the eyes after the coward move? How does a paying customer support this?

People have to understand that as long as 13 and 73 are on this team, they are going nowhere. The baggage they have accumulated in the playoffs since 2019 is unbearable. The team is in the middle of 1 title in 53 years. The fans have been robbed for over half a century. The only solution is to boycott Jacobs. Don't go to the games.

McAvoy is not even in the top 32 in d-men scoring for the league this year. Don't ever forget he went 29 playoff games without a goal. Don't ever forget he tipped in Montour's shot late in game 7 vs FLA in 2023. It's time to move from on from the stage 4 pancreatic cancer of the team who NEVER shoots.

They Bruins need the money to pay Swayman and MacAvoy who are complementary players requiring someone else to do the actual brunt of the load. So, that's all they can afford.

I only watch this lot now to see Swayman get beaten and MacAvoy get drilled. The Carlo show is dreadful. As a hockey enthusiast, my attention has now moved to the better teams. However, I don't mind having Bruins games on in the background just to see these dreadful jobbers get smoked. And watch all of the good teams coming disrespect this team by playing their #2 (goalie) and still come out with the win. Reminder: they didn't even show up for camp in shape. Who is running this show, the MA Players Union? 🤔🤨🙄
