Great promo. Another reason Brody is one of my all time favorites. Convincing promo. Short and sweet.

Casual fans FORGET that Bruiser Brody was a FACE throughout most of Texas. He was a BIG ally of the Von Erich family. He KNEW how to deliver a promo!
@diablo6665414 жыл бұрын
What would ben great they let him take on David von Erich. But Fritz was so not let it happen . he knew what it be like.just like he never wanted do Kevin versus Kerry. Which could saved wccw.

@@diablo666541 Had the boys lived, in-fighting angles would've worked... in the 90s. But there's no way they'd gone over in the 80's. There were a lot factors that brought down World Class. Obviously the Von Erich tragedies. But there was also Brody's murder, Hernandez's death and Fritz's falling out with Gary Hart. All of these were huge factors as well.

Hey look I’m not trying to argue or anything but Hogan wasn’t a little guy by the way. In fact Hogan was probably a little bit bigger than Brody if you’re keeping it real. But you know it’s scripted don’t you? And if you was a promoter you would book Hogan to go over Brody also. If not you wouldn’t be in business long with your company. Hogan had more charisma than anybody you ever seen at that time. He was the biggest draw more than anybody ever in the history of wrestling at that time.

Paul was actually the legendary promoter in Houston. He was a BIG guy.....OVER 6 foot. As a young man he had been a wrestler himself. Nick may have been the GREATEST professional wrestler who ever lived. His Dad Warren had been a star wrestler in LA........Nick went to UCLA and followed in Dad's footsteps.......Nick is at the top with Lou Thesz, Verne Gagne, Buddy Rogers and Ric Flair. Throw in Dory Funk Jr, Jack Brisco, Bob Backlund, Antonio Rocca, Eduard Carpentier, Ray Stevens, etc........the best ever.........Bruiser was a showman like Abdullah the Butcher or George 'The Animal,' Steele. They were NOT real wrestlers per se.........but were huge attractions......In the squared circle Nick was afraid of NO one!!!!!
