I have a black and white polkadot duvet cover from Hema. It’s is about two years old but I am pretty sure they still have it (at least in the Netherlands they do) so might be worth checking out as it was quite cheap as well!

We finally did our room last november after 4 years of living in the house and saving up, it took over a month as we found when we took the wallpaper off parts of the plaster came off. Thankfully the husband is very practical and managed to sort it. And now he has a new job and we have to move this year. My beautiful purple room. I guess thanks to lock down at least I've had longer in it haha xxx

Love the new room look! Steven did an excellent job at picking the colour 😍 I think that’s the same Ikea wardrobe as mine but I don’t have the draw. What a pain to put up indeed! We built mine within my room, and because it’s tall and we’ve got narrow door frames, the only way to get it out would be to dismantle and go thru building it all over again! 😂

Stephen picked a good pink and I don’t even really like pink! But it’s a nice warm pink that seems to reflect light well which is always good. I’m always jealous of the skylight windows everyone seems to have in the UK. In the US they’re just not done and if they are, people complain that they’ll leak and rot and cause all kinds of problems. But the light they bring in is beautiful!

Hi Emnma, I love love love the room! I always thought it had soooo much potential and needed some more storage and it just fits perfectly! Loving all the plants and memorabilia and oh my days, that mirror is GORGE!!! Really hope to be able to get home to my family soon so I can finally re-do our flat too😍 (One little thing I kept thinking the whole time as I know it's something that worried you in the past and wasn't good for you: PLEASE don't worry about what others think or if they like it! Looks fab. We bought the same chest of drawers last week - wanted it for folded ironing in our bedroom. I bought the glass top too which really finishes it off but - it was a pain to put together. My husband has put many flat packs together over 30 years of marriage but this was hard. We had to KZbin it many times lol. It looks really nice thou and I hav rolled up my towels and put on top so now have somewhere to keep towels too (away from overflowing airing cupboard). By the way (lol) - your room looks lovely.
