Bruna's altering backspin/float serve is really good but it must be paired with a strong and reliable third ball attack/counterattack particularly after floating variant. She made a tonn of mistakes after cautious Wang's receives. And anyway this serve needs to be mixed with others, most pros know very well the difference in spin depending on contact point on a racket

@@Waingro808 I'm surprised about the level of complaint in TT when people engage in "bad sportsmanship" and "intimidation". Coming from a football background where "bad sportsmanship" is actively encouraged (it's called mind games), part and parcel of the game in football, people use it to try to get into opponent's head and try undermine them. Only a poor quality football player would let it get to them to an extent that it would affect their game. Mind you I never bothered engaging in it when I played football and to be honest I rarely let it bother me when opposition players were at it to me. So when I switched to TT in past 2 years (hip could no longer take football) I am fairly surprised by the amount of complaint about this. When I play tournaments I go into a game expecting my opponent to be up to some form of mind games, whereas some of the other guys are complaining about the "bad sportsmanship" their opponent was up to.

Her behavior in this match was not good -- she was often visibly frustrated, even angry -- she repeatedly swatted or kicked the ball away after losing a point -- the umpire really should have spoken to her about that -- I have seen her play a number of times, and never seen her behave this way, although it's clear she is an intense competitor -- if you see her in interviews (she speaks English) she seems nice and humble -- to compete with the best you have to be tough, even a little bit fierce, when you are playing, so I cut her a little bit of slack for that reason
@eah810110 ай бұрын
@@heyquantboy I think due to the placement and sensitivity of the microphone the shouts were louder in this match -- also it is my impression she did shout more than usual -- while I would prefer less or none of it, shouting is clearly not against the rules, and I don't necessarily hold that against her, since with her it is part of being an intense competitor, which she obviously is
