Bruna's altering backspin/float serve is really good but it must be paired with a strong and reliable third ball attack/counterattack particularly after floating variant. She made a tonn of mistakes after cautious Wang's receives. And anyway this serve needs to be mixed with others, most pros know very well the difference in spin depending on contact point on a racket

@@Waingro808 I'm surprised about the level of complaint in TT when people engage in "bad sportsmanship" and "intimidation". Coming from a football background where "bad sportsmanship" is actively encouraged (it's called mind games), part and parcel of the game in football, people use it to try to get into opponent's head and try undermine them. Only a poor quality football player would let it get to them to an extent that it would affect their game. Mind you I never bothered engaging in it when I played football and to be honest I rarely let it bother me when opposition players were at it to me. So when I switched to TT in past 2 years (hip could no longer take football) I am fairly surprised by the amount of complaint about this. When I play tournaments I go into a game expecting my opponent to be up to some form of mind games, whereas some of the other guys are complaining about the "bad sportsmanship" their opponent was up to.

A swear word that was used for oneself by Brazilians who use creative words when swearing can lose its meaning But I'll try to explain, she said something like "old man go fuck yourself" (old man would be like "bro") (the term "take" would be like the individual doing something) (the term in the sky would be like self-sabotaging or screwing yourself over or suffering a weakness)

@@helloasroma Pleasure, of course, she was angry and cursed herself, saying something like taking something and putting it in the 👌👈, usually used to tell others to mind their own business. Or a term used to make someone else change their mind, but of course this shouldn't be used. It's also a way of telling someone else to put themselves in their own shoes. Very silly.

TOTALLY Agree... a bit of brazilian style... shouting ALL the time EVERYwhere, if you travel the world you find them in the train, airports etc... shouting and being FUCKING ANNOYING and NOISY AF.... one thing is to be like that, culturally, and ANOTHER TOTALLY OPPOSITE to DONT respect the OTHERS when you are surrounding by them. Specially those who are culturally different. Some people like japanese, english, german for example, travel and are of such good manners with regards to others. . the brazilian player, despite winning and being really good as a player... is a FUCKING embarrasment for human race and sports fair-play... the best example of WHAT NOT TO DO in sports and in life. shame on her.

Her behavior in this match was not good -- she was often visibly frustrated, even angry -- she repeatedly swatted or kicked the ball away after losing a point -- the umpire really should have spoken to her about that -- I have seen her play a number of times, and never seen her behave this way, although it's clear she is an intense competitor -- if you see her in interviews (she speaks English) she seems nice and humble -- to compete with the best you have to be tough, even a little bit fierce, when you are playing, so I cut her a little bit of slack for that reason
@eah8101
@eah8101 10 ай бұрын
@@heyquantboy I think due to the placement and sensitivity of the microphone the shouts were louder in this match -- also it is my impression she did shout more than usual -- while I would prefer less or none of it, shouting is clearly not against the rules, and I don't necessarily hold that against her, since with her it is part of being an intense competitor, which she obviously is

Screaming out after every winning point, so unnecessary and very poor sportsmanship

She is literally just celebrating her points lol, every person has a manner to let it all out in moments like that, btw, its a competitive match, every point counts. stop being so weak lol

What are these wild screams? no respect for the opponent. the funny thing is that the opponent never shouts when she scores the point. I hope that the prize awarded to the winner is at least $500,000 for shouting so much
