That was a really neat military museum fun fact my brother in law is about to retire from the Army after 20 years in service and my stepdad is medically retired 10 years in the Army

The German machine gun that you have identified actually have world war I American soldiers behind it. If they were part of the Kaiser's army they would have wore German army Gray.
