Brunette to Blonde Balayage Transformation - tutorial and formulas included

Hey Everyone! Today I'm going to show you how I hand paint to achieve Blend, Dimension, Coverage, and Lift all at once! I love hand painting but Ive found with other colour lines, the Clay lightener will only lift up to 2 levels.
So i broke the rules.
I mixed LIGHTENERS! Today I mixed Blondme Clay lightener + Blondme 9 level powder lightener. whaaaaaaaat? yeah. pretty sure thats not allowed. but it SHOULD BE.

How would you go about retouching this if it grows out? That's what I struggle with most, doing the 'roots' if this grows out, without tediously picking out every single piece so there's not too much overlap.

I think she didn't highlight to the roots so she can just apply the shadow color to the roots only. And if the client wants to refresh highlights she just highlights over the previous color.

I'll go into salon and offer them money but they will not do it and it's Michael's in Delhi Cincinnati Ohio so I wind up doing it myself sometimes it turns out good and sometimes not I'll ask for blonde then honey blonde and a darker barn and they will not do it matter of what I would give them so I go to Kroger's and buy some blonde hair dye and do it myself but I would love to have Bron wheat and honey bun together no matter what I do nobody will do it for me especially Michael's Salon they turn me down every time matter what I want

I would like to know how you keep the hair strong while keeping the bleach in for 2 hours? I'm in Cosmo a school and they make me rinse in about 30 mins and I always get a red honey tone to my. Blonde attempts. Please help me?

I have a question about timing. You said this foiling took two hours. I've read that maximum safe amount of time for bleach to work is up to 50 minutes and not longer. It means that when you start doing the front you probably should already be taking the back foils off and rinsing the back? That makes no sense and I never saw any hairstylist doing that. Do you just let the bleach sit 2 hours in the back and the hair is fine?

Hi I actually have a question! For the very very front piece did you still back comb cause I noticed she has a money piece. I’m doing a client later in today and this is exactly what she wants. She I just throw bleach straight in the money piece area with no weaves or backbrush or did you still do that?

I usually don’t backcomb for the money piece! It makes it more bold and bright to do slices at the front with no drops between!

Definitely wouldn’t attempt this at home. Overlapping the blonde you already have will cause banding and breakage

Honestly, so many other brands do mix and match lighteners (Oligo and Labioesthetique being some) I don’t see why mixing Schwarzkopf lighteners should be an issue as long as you’re using the dedicated developer for it.
