Born in 1941, Bruno Barbey has had a significant career as a photographer and film maker. He is most notable for his work with Magnum acting both as a photojournalist and as a leading member in several different capacities.
His work has documented life and culture in countries as diverse as Nigeria, Vietnam, the Middle East, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Northern Ireland, Iraq, Turkey and Kuwait

I need to mention that photo in 3:27 is horizontal in reverse. I mean you need to do a horizontal flip to the image to get it back to normal. I am a Chinese and those characters (hanzi) were all in reversed 😂

Good photographer and surprisingly I have seen ( and shared on my photo page ) some excellent work of Bruno Barbey. That photos are multiple exposers of photography done and based on famous cities around the world . That work is very similar to Jerry n Uelsmann's multiple exposure series . Very humorous and fantastic composite of photos .I am going to do a research whether he is different than this photographer here. Good talk and a show here Ted again and thanks .

The shoes are a display currently held at the National Holocaust museum in Washington DC of the shoes taken from victims. The red stuff on the ground behind the lady is skins being tanned.

The photo of the man walking over the hill with the red patchy skins in the background is from a leather farm I believe. The think leather skins have been left in the sun to tan as part of the leather making process!

The Chinese is backwards. The picture was flipped. Show it to someone that can read Chinese characters.

Regarding image with shoes... it was taken in Auschwitz, former Nazi concentration camp. These are shoes of victims
