#elvispresleyreaction #elvisstories #elvis #brunokirbyelvisstory
Elvis Aaron Presley (January 8, 1935 - August 16, 1977), also known simply as Elvis, was an American singer and actor. Regarded as one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century, he is often referred to as the "King of Rock and Roll" or simply "The King."
#tomsnyder #brunokirbyelvis
Bruno Kirby (born Bruno Giovanni Quidaciolu Jr.; 1949 - 2006) was an American actor, singer, voice artist, and comedian. He was known for his roles in City Slickers, When Harry Met Sally..., Good Morning, Vietnam, The Godfather Part II, and Donnie Brasco. He voiced Reginald Stout in Stuart Little.

@@tipu4386 she was named as the replacement executor after Vernon died. It was her in an effort to preserve his legacy and Lisa Marie’s inheritance who brought things to the attention of the Probate Judge that led to all kinds of lawsuits involving Tom Parker. And after the will was probated, she worked with advisors to preserve Graceland and so much else she did. She didn’t need the money- she wasn’t even named in the will but she really gets a large portion of credit for all that’s been preserved.

I was working MLU airport spring 1975. Elvis flew in midnight, raining. He walked off his plane trying not to get wet walked by me got in his car. I said Elvis, he got out we talked on the tat mat. He talked to me like I was someone in stead of a 18 yr old kid. We got to get on his plane and eat a midnight dinner. He was a humble and good man.

Not as big a stars globally or universally butt, two stars in their chosen profession as gracious come to mind... 1) Arnold Palmer and...2) Rafael Nadal. In fact, I would venture to say Rafael Nadal Parera (Full name) may just be the GREATEST man in terms of moral record. No scandals, no record of bad behavior, no womanising, no substance abuse, no nonsense. His standard of behavior exemplary in every facet. I love Elvis, I worship Rafa...not really, but if I were to worship any man...Rafa would be THE ONE.

This interview took place in 1995, so logically the story is close to 20 years old, maybe more, at that time. The sincerity in his voice and the wonderous expression on his face while telling it shows just what an impression that had on him. That is the magic of Elvis Presley.

Bruno was born in 1949 and working as an usher so he was in his teens or very early twenties when Elvis came to the theater. Priscilla accompanying him meant it was prior to early 1972 and likely still in the sixties before his film obligations ended. It would explain why Elvis Priscilla and the entourage were all in LA.

And currently still does! I vividly remember hearing on the radio around 3pm that Elvis has died, on August 16, 1977. Everyone who was with me just stopped our conversations, and listened to the radio as none of us believed it. Any one who came by us, we told them why we were listening to the radio so intensely. It's amazing how certain things that happen in your life, you can remember it like it was happening right now, the complete conversation, or situation.. And I really hate this, as there are things that I would love to forget! Sometimes things come back to me in a dream, weird. Anyone else like this? And I am talking about things I can remember when I was 4 or 5, and especially during my teenage years. I find I have to be doing something 24/7 so I don't start thinking, or something will happen instantly that reminds me of situations I have been in years ago. Just my thoughts. PS: My whole family loved Elvis.

Years ago on his show, Merv Griffin was talking about charisma and who had it and who didn't. The examples he used were Marilyn Monroe and Jayne Mansfield. Both were attractive blonde actresses of the 1950s/1960s, yet they were totally different. The main point being that MM had that certain extra something - call it charisma - that JM didn't have. There's a reason that MM's likeness is one of the most recognizable one in the world.
