This song makes me think so much of my ex. We did everything together, he was my best friend, my lover, my protector. We built an entire house together. Then he turned abusive. One day the neighbors called the police and he was deported. I still miss him though. He was the man I most loved in this world and I still love him. I spent all of 2021 crying for him. I'm doing slightly better but I'm still crying as i write this. I just wish I could go back to the good times. Oh well.
