So Anderson paak is the drummer in the song, he's been around for a while, but him and bruno have joined together to make a band called silk sonic. They got an album on the way and this was just a single from it. Also fun fact bruno mars has partnered with lacoste to make his own clothing line under the name "Ricky Regal"

This song screamed Chi-Lites, Temptations, Five Heartbeats, Marvin Gaye. The Drummer is Anderson Paak who has been makin music for a long time. His musik & Bruno are in a league of their own. They have joined forces to create a new band named Silk Sonic. They are dropping the album in a few months i believe

It's been a LONG time since I listened to a song which TOOK me back to the days when I used to ride on my Big Wheel sporting a big old afro. This sound was definitely inspired from the Philadelphia Sound (Gamble & Huff - songwriters and producers) in the 70's. Groups like Blue Magic (sideshow), Spinners, Delfonics, Stylistics, Dramatics and The Jacksons. Gamble & Huff produced the Jacksons first two albums after they left Motown.
