People gets intimidated by him, they think that they are good until they see sungha jung. People gave up after watching better people than them like sungha jung. But actually, guys, admire him instead, be inspired by him. Its not because he is talented, he got good guitar, long fingers, tutors etc etc , it is his dedication and passion for playing guitar. From 5 years old until now, he played guitar, he is passionate in learning and playing new songs, it is all about dedication, the income is the outcome. Im not as good myself, but looking back, i've seen how much i have improved, I spent months on learning new songs and got better. Never stop learning and keep moving forward.

BUT... He wasnt as good as he is now. Not even close. Wrong notes whizzing everywhere. Im not bashing it was still good, at half my age he was as good as me now. Now holy shit, hes amazing. He doesn't have a tutor... everything is self-taught. Not everyone can teach fingerstyle so most of the learning you have to do on the Internet and yeap, keep practicing :)

Since your learning drum already, why don't you just stick to it? Since you are enjoying it :) , and I think you should go find a nicer center to learn guitar, find a not so strict teacher and everything will be great!!! Since I live in HK I can't suggest you a center or tutor, but so you know I made that mistake did that and did regret it so just stick to what your good at. For me it seems to be guitar not piano...

He self-taught himself untill he became popular on youtube, maybe 15 years old?then he took special classes from professional guitarist. So the only guide is keep practicing, practicing and practicing, of course you have to watch youtube vids and copy them, and you will see the results!

Practice my friend, practice. The left hand is easy and repetitive, but the right hand is a killer. It is one of his best covers after all (Including Phantom of the Opera IMO) Learn Kotaro Oshio techniques as a starter. If you want to learn the song I would recommend learning only the left hand first, no techniques whatsoever, just the notes. After 2 weeks of constant practice, if you get the grip of it, include the right-hand techniques. If you are a beginner don't trouble yourself. If you are intermediate or advanced, follow my advice
