I like how, at one point when the other guests are posing questions and comments to Bruno, Graham just sits back and lets them take over. It's his show, but he's confident and classy enough to let the guests carry it when the moment happens. Then everyone benefits. Subtle hosting at its best.

To this day this is one of my favourite moments on Graham Norton. I love it when guests are genuinely surprised by another guest's talent. I don't pretend to know how "show biz" works, but the couch interaction leading up to this seemed genuine and spontaneous. Stanley and Jimmy were clearly smitten and even Miriam (who had no idea who he was and has a preference for the ladies) seemed like she was starting to "cream in her knickers"... Jimmy telling him to sing and Bruno seamlessly busting out the hook was so amazing.

A lot of people are surprised that it's not his real name, even though Bruno was given to him as a baby and no one calls him peter back home in Hawaii. But Bruno didn't just add Mars for fun, it has more depth which he rarely talks about it. When Bruno first came to L.A at 18 years old, it was more of a cultural shock and people in the music business wanted him to make Latin music because he has the name for it (Hernandez) and Bruno didn't want his music to be categorized so he added Mars as if he's literally out of this world and you can't make assumptions when you first hear the name. It's more difficult for brown skinned people to make it in the music industry because people will be like is he part white or black?

Thank you, but that spot has been filled. There is only ONE Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley and Whitney Houston. Everyone else has to navigate his/her own legacy. Today's music is too cheesy to even equate with the greats! They are all about the pitch and the tempo. I watched one of his shows one time......it was epic. He sounds better live then in the studio, if that's even possible.
