I don't get why people are looking at Newcastle players. They're literally a counterattacking team. Howe's built a team of limited pace and power players. If Howe tried playing possession-based football with the likes of Anthony Flash Gordon James and Isek they could get destroyed. That's why they've been inconsistent because, against deep lines and low-blocks, their players are irrelevant. Their players do not want the ball in tight spaces which is gonna happen if you pluck them from Newcastle and plop them in a big team like United

I get Hajj on the Isak vs Toney but Ranta mentioned Sooo many better reasons. Isak is younger but more injury prone. Too similar to Hojlund, so how you gonna change the game, who is teaching who. Playing against low blocks. Attitude - so his a winner.

ETH is definitely not INEOS’ guy. If they don’t sack him this summer, it’s probably cos of the amount they’d need to give him and his staff as severance. Knowing how much they’d need to spend on the squad plus infrastructure, they probably keep him next season. If next season is not wayyy better than this, they sack him then regardless of the cost.
