Love Bruno...his life story is insane, including how his mom hid the young Bruno and his siblings in the mountains to avoid the Nazis, and every night she'd sneak down into the town to bring food back to them. No wonder he's so tough.

Bruno and I together hold some impressive feats for weightlifting. Our combined dead lift is almost 1000 pounds. Our combined best bench press is over 700 lbs.

Great interview! Glad some of us rememeber just how great Bruno was in the 60s and 70s...a hero of many a kid and father then too...he would often go in the ring {on tv screens then}and save a good guy from a out of hand bad guy beating....guys like George Steele...Toro Tanaka..Killer Kowaski..

He was also bench presssing over 500 lbs in ealry 1960s about...He was freinds also with Gorilla Monsoon,Victor Rivera,Pedro Morales,..He once lifted Haystack Calhoun{600lb guy}over his shoulder for a slam..No one was as good as this Italain wrestler.

Bruno fought Billy Graham as he got older and Billy was at his peak then and even then Bruno was holding his own.Bruno was the best!!! Only other guy real good was Pedro Morlaes who held the titlle about 2 years after beating Ivan Kolofff{who won the title beatng Bruno in 1971 about}

Brunos public appearence was always for PR but when you met him when there was no cameras he was not always that nice.

This didn't age well. Bruno said he wouldn't go into the WWE HoF. Then he went in. What does that say about the guy?

Didn't realize at first he actually changed his mind and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013. Wonder if he changed his mind because they changed into a publicly traded company and started the PG era, or what.

Its like I tell all my friends. Sammartino really was the real deal and the greatest wrestler ever. Wrestling, MMA(shootfightng), even boxing he could do it all. He used to spar with Sonny Liston ffs! All these guys like Big Show, Undertaker, Lesnar that have interest in boxing or mma wouldnt dare get in the ring with a Klitschko.

Bruno was The Man in professional wrestling during the 60s well into the 70s. For Flair to try to mitigate Bruno's career is laughable. Bruno sold out the biggest arenas all over the nation for years. Was Flair a star? Yes absolutely but no where near the same level as Bruno and Bruno did it without the benefit of a national organization behind him.

Bruno Sammartino Was Indeed A Great Wrestler. But I Wouldn't Forgave That Sleazoid Vinc Mcchaon. People Think Forgiveness Means That You Just Merely Forget About It And That's It. But That's Not It. The Person That You Forgive Has To Change For The Better. If They Have No Intention At All. Then Stay The Hell Away From Me! Bruno Would Have Proably Realized The He Made A Mistake Forgiving That Slimy POS Vince McMahon. But He Died Not Too Long Afterwards He Did It.
