@@kiresei5882 well. You can look through many ways. Depending your goal, you can consider great sculptors those who master the techniques, as Michelangelo or Bernini or, nowadays, Ron Mueck Or you can look to those who breaks the canones of academicism, as Duchamp, Calder, Richard Serra or Amilcar de Castro and Frans Weissman. But, contemporary speaking, I believe great sculptors blend both paths, combining subjective aspects as conceptual moods aroused and sofisticated techniques, using materials to provoque thoughts and moods, breaking the normal experience the audience have facing the piece. In this way, I could say Walpoth, Antony Gormley, Waltercio Caldas, Anish Kapoor, Javier Marin are few examples. Of course, Im simplifying, but this is my way of seeing what makes a great sculptor/ sculpture.

中國有十幾億人口 雕刻師父比比皆是 但是都只雕一些十二生肖 猴虎馬狗的 或是神仙佛像龍鳳等不存在之虛擬形相 我沒看過有中國雕刻師父敢挑戰這種人像的創作 因為太難了 人的神韻誰沒見過? 大家太熟悉了 所以無法造假 也因此中國的雕刻師父 沒人敢挑戰這個主題創作 高下立判矣!
