I wish I had you where I live as a dealer. You explain everything and back your product that you sell. Customer service is number 1 priority for you, that means a lot, plus Massey Ferguson is a good product and you explain the pros and cons, like the difference between E and M series. . There’s some dealers up where I live won’t give you the time of day. You do an excellent job on all your videos, keep up the good work.

What cutter would I need for a bx1880? It has 14hp at the pto Kubota only recommends a 42 inch?
@VahrenbergImplement Жыл бұрын
You would need to find one with Minimum HP Requirements at 14 PTO HP or below. RhinoAG TW14 recommended HP is 20 PTO but we have run on the Massey Ferguson GC Series at 18 PTO HP. Think that cutter is going to be too big for a 14 PTO HP Tractor. Maybe some other manufacturer makes lower input PTO HP or smaller mower for your tractor.

Brush hog is a name brand of a rotory cutter. Kind of like bondo. Bondo is a name of body filler. People just call a rotory cutter Brush Hog. People know what you mean. If a dude told me to go to a fishing store I would never come back. You are correct, but no need to be a prick when you know what a person is looking for.
@VahrenbergImplement6 жыл бұрын
Brush Hog is not a brand name. That is "Bush Hog" brand owned by Alamo Group. Same Parent Company of RhinoAG & Schulte Rotary Cutters. Not being mean just helping customers get the proper equipment they want. I've had people ask from a Brush Hog and they really wanted a Finish or Flail Mower not Rotary Cutter. Some have asked from Mid-Mount Brush Hog...they want Mid-Mount Finish Mower. We hear many unique names for equipment in this business and my job is making sure the customer buys what he wants the first time. This video is to teach them the proper terminology so they get what they want to buy the first time.

LMAO!! No wonder why when I would call for the price of a bush hog they kept telling it's just a few dollars. LOL Thanks Doug.
@jakrn016 жыл бұрын
Actually a Bush hog can be a rotary cutter. Bush hog is brand name for a cutter that people mistake and call brush hog. Like wise many people call a rotary cutter a brush hog or a Bush hog. Like some people calling all carbonated drinks a coke or all facial tissues a Kleenex.
@VahrenbergImplement6 жыл бұрын
You're correct Bush Hog is a Brand Name not a Product Name. Rotary Cutter is the correct Product Name. I don't sell Bush Hog brand I sell RhinoAG Rotary Cutters and they are heavier built and more reliable, don't want to be associated as that other brand. Plus we see it often people asking for parts that ask for Bush Hog Parts and we tell them we are not a Brush Hog Dealer but they really want RhinoAG Parts or another brand. Using the correct terminology will help dealers expedite your needs and save you a trip to the wrong place. It can be very interesting the descriptions and terminology at the parts counter or helping someone purchase the correct product they are looking for. Our Staff prides ourselves with trying to help the customer get what they want. This video was to help customer call the product the correct terminology so the y get what they want.

Bush Hog is a brand name for a particular line of rotary cutter. Odd that you just ignored their existence.
@VahrenbergImplement2 жыл бұрын
There are many brand names Bush Hog is one of them, we sell RhinoAG a sister brand to Bush Hog that are Alamo Groups Heavy Duty Consumer to Light Industrial Brand. People hear or use the Slang Terminology Brush Hog to mean a Rotary Cutter, This video helps customer and dealers get what they need when they call a dealership. Do you need "Bush Hog Brand" Parts or Service or you Looking for Rotary Cutter Parts, Sales or Service.

Wtf are the tires under there.lol
@VahrenbergImplement4 жыл бұрын
That is only for shipping. RhinoAG can reduce the width of the mowers for shipping so they can get more mowers on a truck load and keep freight costs down to their dealers. WHich helps dealers keep the cost down to the customers. They are removed when we assembly. That mower had just arrived and not set-up yet but wanted to show the underside of the mower deck so people could learn. That is why the tires were still under the deck.

SWEET I Did Get an Education Than You
@gordbaker8965 жыл бұрын
You need a bit of education on these implements. These cutters were invented in the 50's to cut down corn stalks after picking corn. The old pickers did not chop up the corn stalk. They were called STOCK CUTTERS. They evolved into BUSH HOGS as other uses for them were found. City folk like to call them BRUSH HOGS. Lawn mowers are ROTARY CUTTERS. Wild Pigs are WILD PIGS. Call them what you like but the above is what they are. You're welcome.
@VahrenbergImplement5 жыл бұрын
Actually those original mowers invented to cut corn stalks were called "Shredders" they are part of the RhinoAG Heritage by Servis Corporation they invented in 1945 and made the first pull type shredder in 1948. www.rhinoag.com/about-us/ The industry term for grass, brush and trees mowers either Pulltype, semiMount or 3 Point is called a Rotary Cutter or Rotary Mower. Lawn Type Mowers are Finish Mowers.

@@VahrenbergImplement Different terminology in Canada..
@VahrenbergImplement5 жыл бұрын
That could very well be. Lots of things are different in the USA versus Canada and even regionally here in the states. We produce the videos to help our customers to help them learn and get the correct implements for their needs but share them to help others all around the world learn about the products we sell. Thanks for watching and thanks for taking the time to comment.

Reading the comments I must say….You have a lot of bitchy people in USA…I liked the presentation keep up the good work. By the way we only have 2 types of tractor mowers …Slashers and Flail and we all use the same terminology …what a dull country you are all saying
@VahrenbergImplement3 жыл бұрын
I knew it would create some comments. People use slang names often instead the correct terminology. I think Slashers are same as Rotary Cutters and interesting how the Aussies use that. Wonder how that slang terminology came about like USA uses Brush Hog.

Did you really make a video to chastise customers for using the wrong terminology? If I'm buying a cutter, DON'T correct me on my words, take my money and stfu about what I call it. We can't say brush hog but you keep saying "aerodynamicy"? That's not even a word!
@VahrenbergImplement4 жыл бұрын
We are trying to help customers especially those will little or no experience get what they really are looking for. It's a very common issue we deal with and making sure we get the customer the style of mower they want for their needs. Flail, Finish or Cutter. I've heard everyone called a a "Hog" but they aren't. Sorry you don't like it but our channel is here to help everyone from the beginner to the most advanced user to learn what they are getting for their hard earned money.
