Love all your brushes videos. I’m with you. I absolutely love the Hakuhodo brushes. I have four brushes. G6530, B512, G6440 and the B 505. I also own Chikuhodo brushes, Suqqu,Surrat and Chikuhodo the Fo series but my favorite brushes that I can’t be without are the Hakuhodo salt and pepper..I absolutely love them. I even put away most of the other brushes away. You introduced me to them. I took a chance and it pay. off. Thank you 🙏

Aww! I luv hearing that! I've been eyeing the G6440. How do you use that one? I'm worried it will be too dense for me.

@@brushjunkie6384 the G6440 is a multi purpose brush. I use it for buffing powder and blend foundation,blush and highlighter together. It blends everything into the skin beautifully. I also use it to stamp blush and buffing it into the skin. I bought it originally for bronzer but I like the angle brush better for that. I want to get more. I’m so addicted to this brushes. My absolutely favorite.

Ah that was your order? How are they? The J505 which I think is the goat hair version of my B505? It would be very nice for blush. It's pretty dense but I luv that about it.

So I have to admit I havent used it much but not because of the brush....Ive been testing out so many other brushes. Some opinions about the B505 is that its significantly more dense than the G5545 so it applies more heavily making it difficult for blush and bronzer. I tended to use it for finishing powder in the center of the face. The shape is perfect to get around the nose, under the eyes, ect. I find the g502 much more useful and prefer the density- or fluffiness more. Are you familiar with the G5545?

@@brushjunkie6384 I love the 5545! I would like an equally fluffy larger equivalent. I have the 507 but don’t find them that similar. I don’t have the 502, is it a good one!

Youre right the b507 is quite different. Don't expect the b505 to be fluffy. I use the g5545 more than the b505 and find it much more useful. I would recommend the b502 over the 505.

Hey there Traci! Would you say the G5544 is a similar size to the Sonia G Face Pro. I have always wanted the Face Pro, but I wonder if I should get this instead…looks gorgeous! Great video BTW 💕

Thank you so much. The Sonia G Face pro is one of the only ones I don't have. I have a feeling it's similar to the G5544. Right now Fude Japan has it for $93 so theyre fairly close in price. I don't think you will be let down with either. It just depends on where you want to order from.

The Sonia G is bigger and quite a bit denser. But the Hakuhodo might be easier to use bc it allows you to build up gradually.

I have SG face pro, haku G5542 and J/S531 brushes. Personally I love the G5542 and 531 over the SG face pro. I just feel they glide more easily over the skin.

Hi, thank you for the round up : this is so informative ! The Koyudo premium ones pick my interest even if they are discontinued ! Do you think they are soft as the Chikuhodo ones ? Have a great day !

I don't have a good comparison for the Koyudo premium brushes because they are very unique in their craftsmanship. It's like if the Chikuhodo Z series and the Takumi series had a baby. Theyre as soft as the Z series but crafted at the level to the Takumi brushes. I just have these 2 and so far I'm very impressed. Especially the P-4 eye brush.
