Brushless Kyosho Mad Van VE Front Flips In The Backyard

Well, I bashed the brushless Kyosho Mad Van VE hard for 8-10 minutes with full narration before realizing that I wasn't recording. 🤦‍♂️ I had a bunch of front flips that I had landed and many others where I wrecked. I hate when I do something silly like this. On the plus side, It'll save you some viewing time, so that's good and I get in most of the tidbits before I lost the dogbone. Should be a really easy "fix" to just re-install it. Love how much fun it is to drive.

Nice bash it jumps real good, 😁Tony Now you know why I put bright colored red paint on my mad van dog bones...lucky you found it! WOW and those mirrors did not break after all your bashing kyosho did good with those I thought they would be goners in one bad flip!

Very smart to paint your dogbones. I've had mine get lodged outside of the cup before, but never fall completely out. I'll have to remember to paint mine after we move. The mirrors have been very impressive. The rear tail lights and grill are a bit problematic

@@ShenRC it still makes the Lexan very thin where they go in. And if goop and tape are required to hold them in for bashing…it’s still a bad design. I’d have rather has stickers like the original, but it’s not a deal breaker

✌🏻😎🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿Nice one Tony 👍🏻. Really like to look of the mad van. Did you figure out what’s making the clicking noise? Also What is it with people & wd40? 😂 ITS BAD FOR RC’s. IT BREAKS DOWN PLASTICS & RUBBERS. Look for something else like GT85 or something similar. It’s made by the same company as wd40 too except GT85 is kinder to plastics & rubbers & WD40 is NOT a lubricant like everyone keeps saying. Those plastics already look super flexible so I would keep WD40 well away from the mad van especially if you live in cold climates like I do. Plastics don’t just crack & break in cold weather when you use WD40, they explode.

I lost two of the teeth on my front diff on my second battery. It's awesome, but I hope that doesn't happen a lot! Didn't bash it as hard as you either, which is a bit worrying.

@@CCxRC I have the Mad Van VE and also the Losi DB Pro you reviewed. Due to some luck and Horizon Hobby, I have a spare AVC 6110 receiver. Being I am about your age and I do not have time to RC a lot I LIKE AVC and use it on the Losi or any rig I can so I can just enjoy the fun...I'm not trying to be a pro RC. Question - I am thinking of adding the AVC receiver to the Mad Van since the Losi was also a 2S out the box...you think the AVC would help with the Mad Van from being so fishy/spins out...I don't have throttle control don't run it enough to get there?

i want a mad van ve but looks like they out of stock until nov. everyone keeps breaking them and parts are on back order. i guess that means kyosho usa-1 is probably going to not come out for a while too.

Kyosho is perhaps the most well known brand in rc. But her models are below mediocre and some super expensive :/ (sorry for my english)
