She's looking dialed man! 50 mph is around the corner for sure. Thank you Big B for all the cool videos you've given us in 2022. Best wishes to you and your family this holiday season and Merry Christmas to the boatgang!

Love your “when rc boaters loose their minds” series of videos 👍 I did the same thing with my mg17 but could never get it as stable as you did. I have a bad habit of using a 1.6 pitch on everything, on small boats that creates a lot of torque roll. You will hit that 50mph mark and that will be another Ironclad/Big B first no doubt. BG4L

I've noticed the same thing with my smaller boats, 1.6p tends to torq the whole boat over and there's only so much weight to be distributed to the left hand side of the boat.

Thanks you I was really surprised at the handling differences with the blueprinted bottom especially with the heavier electronics

What I like most. Custom build wooden 3 point hydro. (shovel and pickle fork) Twin OUTrunner. (no veering & they scream) 3 blade props. (don't know why) Transom / prop water pick ups. (NO / NEVER rudder pick up) Small as possible rudder / turn fin for swoopy gliding turning. Yes! Am still figuring out a way to increase water cooing an outrunner (with w c motor mount) Will let you know when I'm there......
@IRONCLADRC2 жыл бұрын
Sounds like one of my speed-build recipes. Minus the 3 blade props personally I like 2 blades
@sjorswouda68652 жыл бұрын
@@IRONCLADRC So true about two blades. Way more efficient, lighter, cheaper. Like to make carbon / carbon-kevlar parts as well. Small ones (rudder blades, motor mounts) moulds (!) hulls........ Many thnx for your replys, really enjoy them.

cool ..thanks... can you remember if you were using stock flex drive on your blackjack 24??? i ask because my old surge crusher i pretty much the same size..i think i have a 3655 6 pole motor... it snapped my last flex drive and i i ordered another on ebay... but maybe you have a more solid idea since thats myonly weak link in my surge setup... has a 120 amp hobbywing esc...i am going to run 50c 2s 4000 mah packs... I will probably buy some glass /plastic props to figure out the best diameter and pitch before invest in a metal prop and balance... thanks again for all your positive rc energy and help...

No the stock esc is for brushed motors I'm running brushless motors you'll need a brushless esc www.ebay.com/itm/163409318459?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=ro7lsaJmQ1O&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=yQkZS9FcQay&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
