The motor was a hobbywing quicrun 2030 7800kv

Just run the stock electronics and motor on 3s zero reason to spend more than $15.00 to upgrade to the power you are getting

Yes, a 3s on stock elecronics does increase power. But 3s with a brushless is insane power. I was never able to hit a jump at top speed. Due to traction. I have yet to hit top speed as well.
