BRUTAL 2021 GLE 63 S AMG SOUND! First Look + AUTOBAHN RUN

In this video, we will be having a walk around showing you the Exterior and Interior Features of the Mercedes Benz 2020 GLE63 SUV AMG & will also take it out for a drive!
''Affalterbach. With the new Performance models based on the GLE, Mercedes-AMG is continuing a precisely 20 year-old tradition: in 1999 the ML 55 as the progenitor based on the then M-Class was the top model in the range with its 255 kW (347 hp) V8 engine. The same applies to its current successor in the guise of the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 4MATIC+ (combined fuel consumption: 11.5-11.4 l/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 262-261 g/km)[1]. The top-of-the-line performer of the model series is naturally taking to the starting line with state-of-the-art engine technology: the AMG 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine generating 420 kW (571 hp) in the GLE model series and 450 kW (612 hp) in the S version is combined for the first time with the EQ Boost starter-alternator. This is accompanied by an additional electric output of 16 kW (22 hp), a 48-volt on-board electrical system, cylinder shut-off and petrol particulate filter for optimum efficiency. Furthermore, the fully variable all-wheel drive, the air suspension with adaptive damping adjustment and active roll stabilisation and the extremely fast-shifting TCT 9G transmission further move the limits of vehicle dynamics upwards. On top of this there are the advantages of a luxury SUV: good all-round visibility, plenty of space for passengers and luggage, high-quality materials and the brand's very latest driving assistance, infotainment and connectivity functions. Even more versatility is provided by the improved off-road capabilities with the two additional drive programs "Trail" and "Sand", as well as the variable vehicle level. This is where extreme sportiness, first-class off-road characteristics and absolute day-to-day suitability come together.
With our new GLE Performance models we are transforming a 20-year tradition into the future. For the first time we are electrifying our well-proven 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine with an EQ Boost starter-alternator and a 48-volt on-board electrical system. As such we are embarking on another new chapter of our drive technology, which we are also successively extending further to other model series as we move towards electrification and hybridisation. With our new premium SUVs, our customers can look forward to an unrivalled package of Driving Performance, high day-to-day suitability, optimum traction on practically all surfaces and also comfort on long journeys with high levels of efficiency," says Tobias Moers, Chairman of the Board of Management of Mercedes-AMG GmbH. It’s equipped with a 612 HP + 16 kW (22 hp) from EQ Boost starter-alternator V8 cylinder engine with twin turbocharging and integrated EQ Boost which produces 850Nm of torque AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G transmission.
2020 GLE 63 AMG 0-100 km/h (62mph) can be reached in 3.8 seconds!
The top speed VMAX is electronically limited to 280 km/h (174mph)

I would only get the GLE63S Coupe from the GLE AMG range. 620 HP with an AMG V8 is simply better and more AMG than a 435 HP 53 model. And I still don't really like the rear lights of the normal SUV version. The Coupe version is not bad and more special.

You're absolutely right. I have just tested the M5 and although it's excellent performance wise, it's so silent ! Same for the RS6 C8. Driving daily a C7 with Akra, I feel like the era of great sounding V8s has unfortunately come to an end. This GLE and the E63S seem like the only nice options.

Yes! Thank you for reviewing one of my ultimate dream cars This is probably my favourite car that has been released this year, along with the S-Class. The Best or Nothing. Wow, the exterior specification is EXACTLY as I would get it. Brilliant Blue, no Night Package, and those wheels. However, I would get the golden brake calipers instead, if those are an option like on the sedan. I just wish the was an option for a gloss trim just for the plastic piece on the rear like there is for the sedan. It does not have to be standard, just an option. As for the non-AMG GLE, I would be okay with it in plastic. I am okay with the plastic in the front, though. And speaking of the front, that jet wing bumper is absolutely stunning, in my opinion, especially in this colour and with no Night Package. In fact, the entire front is beautiful. That new jet wing and the power domes really work well in making this car look like a beast, and same goes for the E-Class sedan. I wonder if the new S63 and S73 will get it. I also love that the GLE kinda got a wide body. Thick rear. The Coupé's rear is thicker, though. The interior is exactly how I would NOT specify it, save for the seats. This is the base trim with the aluminum. Nice, but I would get the carbon fibre trim and the massive Panoramic Sunroof. But otherwise, this is great. German specification. The sound, though. You know...it is great for a modern AMG. Regulations. However, I drove the ML63 a couple years ago. It was absolutely insane sounding. What a beast. I will never forget it. That was such a beast and a dream car. What I am about to say will seem insane. Here goes: if this GLE was as it is (with my specifications) and had the sound of the ML63 with the 5.5L BiTurbo V8, I promise you I would already be on my way to buy this car! Dead serious. I cannot afford it, so I know I will be paying for about half a decade, which is insane time to spend paying for a car, but it is still worth it, lol. It would be the best worst decision of my life. Thankfully I am not dating anyone, married, or a parent, or else this would be impossible, lol. No way my partner would approve. Okay, I would not actually buy it, but I would be very tempted to. Haha. Would I buy the SUV or the Coupé? I can't answer that. I love both so much. Choosing is impossible. Flip a coin. I would go for the 63, though. Great review. If you can, please review the new GLS63. That is also another beast. Those wheels on that GLS63 are awesome. Sadly, The GLS63 does not get an _S_ version. Oh well. Still a beast, though. I am itching for you AMG GT Black Series drive review and your video/s on the Immendingen race track, if those are coming. I am looking forward to those.

Yes, german spec as always! Exactly what I forgot: the carbon fiber middle console elements which looks absolutely amazing! The sun roof is a must have for everyone 😅 I wish that all the new cars would have the old sound such as the facelift GTR or the facelift C63 in graphite grey magno 🤯 I will try to get the GLS63 as soon as possible but as you know Mercedes is facing a couple of delays when it comes to the GLE/GLS production in the US 🤷🏼‍♂️ Still thank you very much for your comment, always more than a pleasure to read those comments!
