Realistic? No. The landing craft would NOT have stayed there , once they dumped the troops . They either would have gone to pick up another load , or went back to the larger ships . People dont realize , they were only made of plywood in WW2 , The drop gate was different , but the craft itself , was very vulnerable . Where are the big ships ? or do they use the star trek transporter ? Where are the medics ? Its also amazing that only ONE man can opperate the cannon , and never reload . Like the western movie six shooter , that never runs out of ammo . Where is the moral check ? Some Germans would have surrendered , some of the soldiers landing would have cracked , and refused to move. Almost every landing the US made in WW2 had a naval bombardment , and /or air bombadment before and during the landings . They would have had support from the sea in all cases , even if it was only destroyers . Land mines ? There would have been some . No barbed wire either . I could go on , but its about as realistic as a lego . Graphics are good , but there are some critical historical elements missing . No game can have a realistic mode if it doesnt include moral checks .

Another question; did the Germans dig those trenches for the invading forces to take cover in? Where were the German infantry that would have occupied those trenches? I did see a couple, but there would be dozens of them.

I wasnt ....but my grandfather WAS . Real life is not a video game , real blood r, eal death , no respawn , no do overs . @nrider
