Three of the cammer's opponents went airborn. I'm guessing only the last crash was fatal, which I find incredible. Fellow viewers and riders, think it over very caredully before you attempt to ride at this level. Prayers to the departed and the survivors and their families. You do realize this is an organized event where every competitor and member of their team along with family realize that most the can and sadly they average a death almost every year. Not every year does one pass but it is very common. Most of Dunlops family has passed in this race and he himself has won it 27 times. Too many who deem the race too dangerous has tried to get it cancelled. But no one on earth but the participants have a right to stop the race. And even then if you don’t feel safe you don’t do it. It’s that simple. They have a year to plan and get ready so they know what they are doing. Conquering the course is the challenge more-so than winning.
@mychals66452 ай бұрын
@oomachiw111 I'm pretty sure it's not 'riders die every year', but staff and spectators too. Every year SOMEONE dies. "Since 1937, the only "deathless" Isle of Man TTs happened in 1982 and 2024."

I race and I have raced against people who are literally fearless to their own detriment - the margins of error here at those speeds are not small - they're miniscule - the entire point of racing is to take risks GREATER than your competitors are willing to take - period - the rider who wins is the one who somehow did not crash when crashing was almost inevitable - in slo-mo - the rider who crashed was at fault - the outside rider held his line on the right hand bend and the other rider was pinching in on the apex of the corner and hit the other rider knocking himself off balance which led to him going off piste - he somehow held it upright and would likely have been fine save the on-ramp line he chose had a drop that he was not ready for - he landed angled to the direction of momentum and shunted high-sided which catapulted him into the air literally bouncing off the tarmac and then it appears he proceeded to wipe out the billboard as the camera pans away - if I was either rider here I would not feel anything was illegal or unwarranted - this is racing and the cost of racing can sometimes be v. high indeed - safety is secondary - its not about having a death-wish its about winning the race - some people just hate to lose so much that they would rather die than lose - it becomes a game of chicken - balls of steel and nerves - next

This guys was screaming past everyone, nearly rear ended multiple people, and ran someone off the road and onto the grass! I feel really bad for the guy that crashed as he was probably furious with the guy than ran him off the road and his emotions made him do something that ended his life.
