In the settings, you can enable the appearance of secret guns in backpacks scattered around the level. The coolest thing there can be is Guts's sword. With berserk, this is a fierce fun

The Revenant and Mancubus weapons being usable by the player is very cool. Brutal DOOM has always struck me as being way too edgy and trying too hard to be cool, but I have to respect the insane amount of effort that has been put in here. Thanks for this showcase!

apparently even in a far future, some average real-life guns such as Beretta 92 pistol, USAS 12 auto-shotgun, Taurus Judge (the shotvolver) M79 launcher, M21 rifle, perhaps MG42 as well as a good old double-barrel shotgun (although it was already included since Doom 2 as a reference to evil Dead) are still going strong , including on demons

I remember Mark saying he wanted this versiom to streamline Brutal Doom. Honestly I'm glad he didn't end up doing so and no guns were removed, though I suppose this update was made just as much by the community as it was by Mark. The new sniper rifle looks neat. I'm an old Serious Sam fan so I actually like sniper rifles in my retro shooters. The m240 looks dumb. I don't think its a valuable inclusion.

Small correction at 9:30 here. The Railgun holds five shots, not six. It still uses 10 cells per shot.

Will say I kinda miss the SAW from earlier versions but having the grenade launcher on the assault rifle makes more sense. I just felt like it was a slightly more powerful chaingun like it melted barons if you aimed at the head.

The Shot cannon I call it the hand cannon. Crazy how it uses shotgun shells opposed to mag ammo (magnum). Gonna miss using the machinegun but indo believe it's still in game. Never picked it up while playing. The rail gun is fun especially getting rid of Cyberdemon quickly after a lot of shots to the head. Also you can duelwield the Mancubus launcher to

I believe the LMG was removed because of the Chaingun rework, adding the underbarrel launcher to Assault Rifle + you have the MG42 and Sniper Rifle. It would be a 5th weapon in slot 4.
