Awesome video!!! Wished you all would use a few more addons when playing. Like RELIGHTING BETTER FX FX ENHANCER LIQUID SHADER And so on. I would try GUN BONSAI as well. I use it in every modpack i am creating. Giving you an awesome XP/ upgrwde system to play with.

I lost count of how many times someone spelled my nickname wrong lmao. Jokes aside,thank you for reviewing my mod. Some tips: -I designed BW with the ability to crouch beneath projectiles in mind. That would have prevented the frustration without having to rely on an external addon. -If you are reloading in the middle of a firefight,consider switching weapon. -

Love the mod, though I think my favourite was version 4.5 with all the maps being 1:1 copies from Wolf 3D. Not as high quality as version 5 obviously, but it just felt kind of cozy to me

This mod gets me psyched, for real. If someone is turned off by Wolf 3D, understandably (I love it), then I would highly recommend this mod. If anything, it's just a really creative reimagining of the original levels... plus, I think it's also got a mini secret campaign of its own somewhere in there iirc...

One thing I did was swap all the music with the first 3 Medal of Honor games on Playstation. I'll never play those games again as they haven't aged well but the music is so incredible that being able to recycle them for this is a godsend. My only complaint is you (or at least I) don't get the funny high-pitched death screams from enemies. "MEIN LEBEN!"

attn VR players: 3d Weapons cover up to 5.0, it works with newest version but two or three weapons are still sprites. emawind84 has pcvr gzdoom port with dual weilding and modern qol features sainigma has 3d weapons for vr players nothing like a flamethrower in the offhand and a 1911 in the main

It is so funny that people asking if something is "compatible with brutal doom" which is .. strange since BD is a weapons and monster mod using interconnected features like the gore and damage system which are needed to be called brutal doom in the first place.

I played one of the old update versions a year or so ago, because there were no new updates at that time, I beat it and my problem with this mod is that, it's a straight up corridor shooter. Yes, I played Brutal Doom, I'm a big fan of it and I love it but Doom by itself has a better design in a lot than Wolfenstein. Thus why, when I was playing Brutal Wolfenstein, I got bored very quickly. One time I even got stuck in the corridors simply because they were the same and I had no idea, where to go. And even the map did not helped, simply because the design of the level had basically the same structure from every side. So it took me up to a few days to beat it, unlike Brutal Doom that I can beat in one sitting. And no, I never played original Wolfenstein. My very first Wolfenstein game was Return to Castle Wolfenstein on PC, and back then I never beat it too, simply because back then I sucked at FPS games. I mean, jumping straight from consoles like NES and Sega to PC is not easy and you have to learn to play new stuff before you actually master it. And playing it now is not interesting for me, simply because I lost interest towards WW2 themed games long time ago. Exception would be Brutal Wolfenstein simply because it is somewhat refreshing and yet can become boring at the same time. So yeah, one thing that I would love to see completely improved in Brutal Wolfenstein is level design. Like, completely modernized with more varied open spaces and corridors that looks completely different one from another. That would be way better than looking at the same walls and walking the same labyrinth of corridors, trying to figure out, where to go.

Newer version does have better level design, as for your other issues I’d say just try it again at some point, it’s free at least
