It’s just so disappointing to see how everyone likes to kill new companies that come into the industry yet when Teslas junk cars came out with the worst built quality got perfect reviews. It’s a car, they want it to drive like a regular car. If you want a comfortable vehicle, go buy a 120k car. Don’t get one half the price.

Tesla got very bad reviews with the quality, panel gaps and general issues. A good review would mean influencing people to buy the car. We are not sales people, we do reviews. If the car gets better, we will be happy to recommend it! I even said at the end that VINFAST is a very likeable company and hopefully has a bright future!

Tesla is still highly 'iffy' on quality. But fan boys don't pay attention...they concentrate on 'tech' when you tell them about the crap quality and looks of Teslas.

As an owner of 2 VF8 Plus EVs, my wife and I have been enjoying our cars very much. My car already has 21K miles on it and I only have until March of 2025 to drive it as my lease ends then. I will miss my City Edition VF8 but will say hello to the newly improved VF8 Plus that we will be leasing then. This shows the love and trust I have on VinFast as a company because it stands behind its customer support promise. I shuddered when I heard of your advice to get Tesla Model Y because who wants a car that everybody else has? I have gotten so many compliments on my VF8 that I bet none of the Tesla model Y owners even gets a second look, let alone a compliment on their cars!

at 12:45, you tried to demonstrate that the car would roll back (on a hill), but your video showed it stood perfectly still for a (LIFETIME) of 2-3 sec after you lifted your brake pedal. I don't understand what is your complaint about this again?

With Creep mode on it stood still, but like that you can’t do 1 pedal driving. With Creep mode OFF, it rolls back when regen is set to high… all other EVs stand still as they should be braking due to regen high and 1 pedal driving.

@@MotorPressReviews to get "hill hold" with or without creep mode, you bring the car to complete stop with normal pressure on the brake. Once the car stops, apply more pressure on brake pedal for an additional 1-2cm travel and hold firm. Do that when stopped on an incline, and the car will hold still for a while to allow transition of your foot from brake to accelerator when you are ready to drive off again. Ask how I know? I own one!

Creep mode on is hold and stop without break, using motor to stand by. - Regen mode is revert motor rotation to regen current. 🎉High regen, like tesla one pedal, made dizzy for all passengers. Only Driver just feel fine. Driving experiences are designed by VW architecture engineer.

I have own a Vf8 plus for the last 2 months and have zero issues, and your compliant on the distortion of glasses are just unheard of and baseless as I drive this thing everyday. There are little noises from the rear wheel well but zero rattling as you mentioned. The Adas are among the best out there, and you said it is out right dangerous is just crazy. You might have a bad unit that you reviewed on, I can guarantee you 99% of actual owners are not agreeing with your reviews, especially you made it sound so dangerous, in reality it is opposite of your verdicts, although it is not 100% perfect, but it is completely safe and performed extremely well. I don't have any glitch as you mentioned and mine is 15 version of software.

@@MotorPressReviews maybe that is the case, I put almost 10k miles on my vf8 the last 8 weeks and use the Adas about 70% of the time , because I always on my phone because of my work( which is unsafe and I find the Adas extremely helpful) if all of them as bad as you described I am already dead!

I am a VF8 owner. I agree with most of this video. The car had a good lease deal so I picked it up. However, there are many issues with this car. Most are covered here. I will add that this car is highly inefficient. At most, I gotten 2.8 miles per kwh. Thats garbage. My ID.4 has gotten up to 4 miles per kwh. .The windshield looks warped at the edges. Tire noise experienced at low speeds. The suspension is harsh. You cant stop charging without getting in the car and stopping it from the main screen (this sucks on rainy days). I can go on and on...

My Tesla model 3, RWD runs 5+ miles per kWh. I love it. Its auto pilot features work 95% perfect. And the FSD free trial is about 85% perfect. These % are just my ratings reflecting my experiences with these features. The screen with bird view is so great making backing the car in a parking spot so easy.

Vinfast over emphasizes safety, such as default creep mode, accelerator, hill assist etc. The car is designed for majority of the drivers who follow the driving text books; it is not designed for maniac drivers or bank robbers!

OR you can turn off alert sound. 10:02 Change R gear, 2 mirrors automatically move slowly down to view the rear. It's a delay Unlock - press break to turn on - Wait 20-30s to see "READY" pops up on Display. This initiation start is right way and no more alert messages. Maybe, vinfast needs to remove camera 360 feature to speed up start sequence. VF5 don't have these, so Vf5 starts so fast. HUD works by reflection of light, so Text size is affected by Angle of windshield and driver eyes position
