I'm also watching the FromServe channel. He already enabled the settings which were disabled for PS4 performance, using upscale textures and enabling dynamic shadows. In some scenes, the PC version is looking objectively better now. And as time goes on, tomorrow, next week, next month, the PC version will continue to look better and better. Anisotropic filtering, ambient occlusion, RTGi, HDR, and upscaled textures could transform this into a fan remaster project. I hope this game receives a comprehensive overhaul similar to the RE4 HD project.

A lot of effects (pre and post-processed) aren't rendering properly or at all and those are gonna be the tricky bits to fix, but other than that it's coming together super well. Looks about the same level as Dark Souls 1 a lot of the time now.

I tried to run the game today. I have a PC like this, a QQLT processor (an engineering processor, I don’t know exactly, but it seems to be similar to the i7-8700k), 16GB DDR4 2666MHz, RTX 3060. I installed patches for 720p and disabled all effects. I tried many emulator builds, but I don’t have such a stable picture as shown in this and previous videos. I will wait as long as it takes until the game runs stably on my PC and many others. Although I have this game on PS4, I still want to play on PC at 60fps and 21:9. Good luck to you guys!

@@maledikt Use process lasso to set a watchdog behavior on Shadps4 Set the behavior to "trim memory" if the application uses more than 12gb of Ram (for 32gb; Use more or less depending on how much you have) for longer than 1 second. That helps most crashes better than mostly anything else IMO.

@@BuenoSama-xk7re I have is on PS4 too, but I gave my PS4 to my brother. So I still own a disc but have no way to play lol. I’ve played loads of Elden Ring but on Bloodborne I got walled hard by Father Gascoigne. Literally played on and off from 2015 to 2018, repeatedly getting stuck in the same spot, until finally I took him down. Felt incredible, but it was so draining and the next bonfire was so far that I didn’t progress much more afterwards. So I’m really excited to get it running on pc when it’s playable and really dedicate myself to it. Especially because the lovecraftian lore and aesthetic are by far my favorite out of all the FromSoft games.

Bloodborne is a cool game but God forbid if it doesn't have the most amount of bullshit in the modern entries.

What? Lighting is way too strong, many particle effects just don't exist and crashes are still expected behaviour. And who knows what small details I am still missing. @@victorlobanov9051 There are different branches though. Most of the branches I tried crash. The bbhacks branch under Windows-Qt worked but it hasn't shown up in the list for a while so I'm not sure which branch is being shown in the video. At some point, all the changes need to be merged into the main branch as they get closer to releasing 0.2.1 but until then, we need to know which branch is best for running Bloodborne. Maybe the discord has more info on this.
