Hi I am seriously interested in the Brat 250 but cant get a test ride. How are you finding the bike ? Speed acceleration comfort etc ?

@@pggp273 It’s not great for speed but it’s not a road bike. Seat is fine. It’s fantastic on country lanes & puts a smile on your face whenever you ride it. Oh & the exhaust noise 👌. Mine came from Evolution motorcycles, Hersden. Not sure where you live but they have one arriving soon from Herald. Not sure any dealer will let you test ride. 👍

@@meddlecho Thank you for coming back to me. I like the idea that there will be very few about. What plate reg is yours on as they are all pre reg. Do you mind if i ask how much you paid as I've seen them for 3500 and the cheapest I've seen was 3300 but that sold pretty quick. Unfortunately a lot of Herald dealers are pretty useless, however I have connections in kent so would be happy to chat with your dealer if you had a good experience.

@@pggp273 It’s a 71 plate & was 3500. Evolution have been great & they are 100% committed to Herald. They offer a delivery service if you were interested. Speak to Kerry if you want to go further, extremely helpful.

I saw one at the NEC Motorcycle Live 2023 and I want one. It's a very tidy bike. Well made and put together. The British racing green one with the gold yokes is so good. I was so gutted I didn't get a pic. I'm tidying my bike up to px in. Only thing I would change and it a personnel is a high exit exhaust it possible and bash guard.

Looks fantastic!! My good lady wife bought a Herald 400 ckassic from Mark at All2wheelers 3 years ago. He had given it a few tasteful modifications! (Rattracker). Seen the Brute a couple of times and liked it. Is there a demo available?

A nice alternative to the Fantics. If you do a scrambler version give it a nice high pipe like your Maverick 125. Nothing under the sump, please.

There has been great comment regarding the price of this bike and yes there is a lot of choice in the price bracket from established manufacturers. However for the mainstream manufacturers to achieve the 7K price bracket the product will almost certainly be built in the east. A British built bike will of course cost more to build but if you compare this bike to the CCM Street at 11k. This bike is an absolute bargain

I was very impressed with this bike when I sat on it at the Peterborough bike show a year or so ago, that was until I was told the price, over £7,000 on the road. I settled on a new Benelli Leoncino 500, just over £5,000 on the road and delivered. I would love to see this " British " model do well, but I do not think they will at that price. I hope I am proved wrong.

Wish they were truly British bikes. Dont mean do be harsh but my brand new Herald is 100% Chinese, already every "stainless" component is corroded. Parts are expensive and limited in stock. Lexmoto engine, no oil filter. I can't see me having the bike for long, and can't see it passing its first MOT with the build quality. Wish you were bringing bike manufacturing back to Britain but from my brand new Herald I'm disappointed.

Not impressed by wheelies etc. This only encourages bad riding. The Ace Cafe is having to close to discourage the circus acts by clowns on the road outside. Responsible riding please!
