A 2012 Briggs and Stratton Brute lawn mower being demonstrated. Big wheels in the back, self propelled. I am very happy with mower. It works good.

Mower still runs good after 3 years. I mow through 2 ft tall grass at times. I bought a second one last year and it came with better wheels, and a few other improvements.

why its front wheel drive when the rear wheel are bigger than the front? i don't understand the engineer at all. must be made in Germany.
@bronzechicken44375 жыл бұрын
It's an old comment but I'm joining in. Big wheels are for rotating the mower easier and for better cuts on hills, as well as they improve on handling it with a full bag. Now they do make rear wheel drive big wheels, which are nice but very very expensive.

You're right, it's a bad ass lawn mower. Had mine for two years and it does great, unfortunately I just broke one of my back wheels today (shit), gonna start looking around for a used one and if that fails I guess i will be buying a new one for an arm and a leg.

Back wheels are a disaster. I've been through 6 wheels and finally gave up. They never improved the wheel after introduction and even though they sent several free, they only lasted a few mowings before breaking again.

I love mine but the front wheels are only hubcaps and mine keep popping off. I love the water inlet on the deck. It makes for easy cleaning.

Just bought one of these today. Its bad ass. Got mine for 330 something. How much was yours?

Going through tall grass puts more stress on the piston, connecting rod, and crankshaft, leading to a shorter life. Also, to keep up, the mower has to run a leaner mixture meaning the engine gets hotter since it's being choked for gas entering the combustion chamber.
@MrSGL218 жыл бұрын
Thats yankee grass. that shits the equivalent of 4 maybe 5 days growth on my back yard in terms of difficulty. that "tall grass" isn't doing shit to that mower.

I have been buying mowers with briggs & Stratton engines since 1970, and none of them would start reliably after a few seasons.
@tylergurley67959 жыл бұрын
Probly cause you left gas in it or didn't store in in a shed or garage I have a small engine repair business and that's often the case and then I clean carb and flywheel assembly and it usually fires right up. Briggs and Stratton motors are very good just have to keep up with them

Jesus.. that kid is a noob. At the age of 6 I was mowing grass, I'd put that kid to shame, so would my brother, he's 15 and using a Zero Turn mower.
@timpage50216 жыл бұрын
Mark II some people don't have thousands of dollars to spend on a zero turn. And a monkey could operate a zero turn you lazy shit. So what's your point?

In this video, I see a good mower, a father who loves his son and a son who wants to please his father. I can’t understand what you are seeing that the rest of us won’t. Great video!

why change the oil after a 30 min use wtf man
@3than111110 жыл бұрын
When you get a brand new lawn mower that has never had oil you want to let the oil circulate in the engine then do an oil change
@5153john10 жыл бұрын
yeah but the oil is stil good no need to change it
@cornerboynl8 жыл бұрын
With a new mower, I believe the first hour or so, small pieces of metal come loose inside the motor as the parts wear, the breakin period. The oil change removes the small pieces of metal. I guess you could run a magnet over the oil but a lawnmower only takes less than 1 liter. Not worth the trouble. I would guess it's the same for any small engine
