My stepdaughter suffered the worst kind of bullying too, imagine the worst, yes, that kind of worst…She’s now past that now, and she’s become a beautiful, tougher and smart young adult. I’m sure we are all going to be here when you decide it’s time to continue. Your reviews are so unbiased and knowledgeable, you bring a lot to the art community on making smart decisions, specially during these pandemic times, when smart decisions need to be made about how money is spent. So sorry to hear about your daughter, look after her and each other, our youngest child was bullied in school, she has PTSD due to this, love and support is the only thing you as a parent can do, she is away at university now and every so often I get a phone call and we breath and talk through from a distance, I hear what your saying and yes your daughter and family need you and you more importantly need them. Hi Harry, I'm so sad for what your daughter and your family is going through. I went through a similar difficulty with my own daughter and I know how much it hurts. At her worst she tried to end it all and came extremely close to succeeding. It was 7 years ago and I still get teary thinking about it now. The good news that with time and help things got a lot better. Do whatever you need to do for you and your family to get through this. If you can't do many reviews for a while so be it. Don't stop drawing for yourself though, it may be the only thing that keeps you going. My mistake was not to make a small amount of time for me because my girl needed me so much. But it's a bit like the aeroplane oxygen mask if you put yours on you can help them next. As for your channel Harry, we'll be here for you when you get the time to get back but you and your family must always come first. I am sooooo sorry about your sweet daughter. Bullying should be ILLEGAL for the damages it causes to the victim and the family that loves that victim. I just have no words but I will tell you that your daughter and your family are in my prayers. There is a greater "good" power out there. They just started floating around my recommendations and thought I trust the company in providing pretty good pencils, having 520 colors makes me doubt how distinct each color would be from one another. They’re probably trying to attract people who have thought about subscribing to the Felissimo 500 colored pencils but couldn’t commit to the uncancelable monthly $50 commitment, such as myself hahaha

I am so happy that I found your channel. You provide so much information which helps beginners like me understand the colored pencil world. You are the best and most honest person in giving your opinions. I was watching your other video of the over 520 pencils which would I think overwhelm me in trying to keep this amount of pencils organized. Anyway, I was searching for more of your wisdom on KZbin and came across this page. My heart ached for you, your daughter and wife for what your daughter had to endure. I find as I get older I see that kids can get cruelest and it needs to stop. I hope everyone is trying to move on from this horrible incident. As parents, we would gladly carry their pain. When it comes to our family, we, as parents have the heavy burden of holding how we feel within and just show, support and give our love to our children. My husband and I faced a most difficult challenge in that my 17 year old son was killed by a drunk driver. Even though we were suffering inside, we held it together for our 14 year old daughter who worshiped our son. It was a very difficult time for all of us. Hubby and I both went back to work in a week. I worked for a trial attorney who needed me. They say time heals all pain, but the time seemed to move slower. We are all fine. I pray that, mostly your precious daughter, is moving on. It will take time but I just know you and your wife have given her all your love with bunches of hugs and words of support. God Bless you.

Thank you for your dedication and this honest review; I didn’t knew this brand !! I tend to neglect the paper quality when I use colored pencils ( because most of the time, I work with mixed media). As a human being and as a mom, I completely understand that your family comes first. I personally believe that people will still come around your work and reviews even if you take a (very necessary) break from it. When a new brand or any news about colored pencils pops out, I simply think of your reviews; you became a cornerstone reference and thus can work at your own pace. I don’t know how old she is but it’s a long road but family support means everything. What helped me was self defense classes. The physical activity and the ability to protect myself helped so much. Therapy is really important too.

I have the squares....and I also have a 160 of rounds and they actually are diff (laydown, colors, core thickness, etc). I use budget when I'm just practicing, doing tutorials or messing with a new technique/subject. Helps to reserve my expensive polys and lums for commission work.
