Juno is in my opinion the best Roman Temple. The health benifit gives a direct bonus to both happyness and growth.

This is a helpful guide and you are right about taking patavum(I think it is spelled like that) but yeah it starts with lots of population growth so I took and it and enslaved it to get lots of population in my cities

I was in Thermon and a Macedonian ship blocked my general's transport ship so he got killed by rebel navy... I was so mad I had three family members go in and take their capitol haha. The Senate wasn't happy, but I think the Brutii family was haha 😅

If you are inexperienced the Julii are the easiest. If you are experienced the Brutii are by far the easiest faction in the game. You can double your army every single turn and still have the largest economy in the game.
@hannibalburgers4772 жыл бұрын
I disagree. If you are unexperienced, Julii is easy. I know because my first playthrough was julii, and I was swarmed by the endless amounts of Gaul hordes
@johnirby88472 жыл бұрын
@@hannibalburgers477 the game kind of sets you up to play as Julii and sweep across Italy, Africa and Greece while the other two Roman factions armies are far away
@MCorpReview6 жыл бұрын
Notice u are a kings and general fan too. I also think julii is easier to play. Initially grew very well as a Brutii but then the Greeks counterattacked and they took all my stuff.
@lugotorix61736 жыл бұрын
Yeah the Brutii have to face the hardest factions in my opinion, certainly the toughest of the Roman campaigns

Lugotorix your alias suggests u r a fan of the Gaul faction. 🤗that’s another really hard one to play bcuZ julii is so strong 💪

Brutii are my favourite, because you can get the wonders quite early in the game and the Greek cities are very rich and developed.
@darthbugge39875 жыл бұрын
Yet the brutii if you play right you can stop scipia expansion and take Carthage and rest of that place and if you take paction you the other city you can basically stop the other romans from expanding
@sbastianbrilyanto47223 жыл бұрын
Yes but if you can handle it, easily the richest faction in the game

as the Brutii, I allied with Macedon early on (including military access) and later BOUGHT Corinth for only 11000 denarii.. I'm satisfied to leave it at that as I have little interest in territories to the north although by this point I could betray them at any point for a couple of regions in northern Greece (Larissa and Thessalonica)

Seems like you're shooting you're self in the foot with that alliance. The whole point of playing the brutii is to take over all of Greece. After that you could go north but I myself pushed father east took over turkey and now swooping south into Egypt.
@Dan-uf2vh2 жыл бұрын
@@danielromanik6494 exactly, I had no interest moving north from Greece so I left the poor Macedonians to screen me from those northern barbarians :D

Brutii is the most easiest faction even in VH/VH difficulty. When I play as a Brutii, I do not even fight manually. When you destroy Greek cities and Macedons, just enjoy the 100.000 denaries income every turn :D You can easily finish the game by the 200th BC.
@mattphillips28442 жыл бұрын
Bruitii are the easiest Rome campaign and second easiest in the game after Greek Cities. This game is all about taking Greece and Rhoades. After that it’s almost impossible to lose.

Nah in my most recent run Capua was the hardest settlement to take from the Scipii. Though I did take Syracuse and Carthage. So I guess I shouldn't have been that surprised that the Scipii had about five armies worth of troops just hanging around Capua. Albeit those armies didn't even hold out long enough for the Julii to send their major armies back to Northern Italy.

Rome total war got the Brutii wrong. The Bruttia were a minor gens that never obtained any important magistracies until the latter half of the first century AD when Lucius Bruttius Maximus was proconsul in Cyprus. The Brutii should actually be the Junia gens as they are the ones who actually have the history, the Bruttians an Italic tribe of Lucanian descent that inhabited the most southern tip of the Italian peninsular

Rome got lots of things wrong. Just look at the Greek City-States (The united cultural and military power) are definitely not united. And I'm not even going to get started on the Egyptians :D
@RocketHarry8654 жыл бұрын
@@shellshocked9571 The Greek city states could represent the leauges the Greek City states would form when ether threated by greater powers though this is still a very big pinch of salt. Egypt is the absolute worst faction when it comes to historical sins. If I made it I would have it being a hellenic faction that can recruit both native egyptians and greek settlers. You can see my reworked roster in the comments for the Egypt Faction guide
