Why dies brutis get so much slack from people? His gimmick got over really well in the 80s

At the expense of more talented peers simply because he was Hulkster’s fluffer

@@Insert.anger50 he was alive when this was filmed. Everyone hates on warrior. Why I don't know. He seemed like a good guy to me. Barber said it was cause he didn't party like the rest of them stupid reason to not like someone
@mac888spectral717 күн бұрын
@@sccc6758 That would be a pretty stupid reason, but by many accounts through the years, Warrior was not a good dude. The Undertaker (as credible and respected as it gets in the business) saw him treat a little kid in an airport like dirt just for asking for an autograph. Bobby Heenan said nobody liked being around the guy. They must have had their reasons.

Title Match Wrestling (and RF Video) are cuttin' and struttin' with their interviews. 😅

@TheRaZorEffect and why are they memorable?
@TheRaZorEffect16 күн бұрын
@@DavidMccallister65 because he was taking bumps and doing death match/hardcore style stuff that no one else was doing in the WWF at the time.

Of course this is an old interview. Old Brutus saw the writing on the wall with WCW before it happened, predicting they wouldn’t last another 2 or 3 years.

Hard as it is to believe now, this guy was as over as anybody with the fans in the late 80's except for Hogan, Warrior, and maybe Piper.

@@Mr.Beefy1979Not sure if you're serious but I'll humor you. He was a face in WWF from some time in '86 until 1992. He was in and out of the company a couple of times during that period but he was very much "over." He returned in '95 and was a good guy again when he fought Golddust at WrestleMania 11.
@tobysgamingworld155018 күн бұрын
@@Mr.Beefy1979you’ve never seen his “retirement” match when he fought Adrian Adonis. The level of “over” he was back then is unreal. He came to Hogan’s defense when Andre attacked him and turned baby face. He was over ever since.

In this situation it’s about who you know not what you know. Beefcake was a good worker I believe. But I also believe had he not known Hogan he would’ve never made it to the WWF. But hey, at least he made it! Lol
