I wouldn't be too quick to rebuild her. All the smoke seemed to clear as soon as she got nice and warm. Do you have much blowby? Even then, sometimes all they need is a few hours of HARD work. She looks and sounds really great.

Hi Calvin. Thanks for stopping by and comment. You're absolutely right! When she's up in temperature, that smoke subsides. There's not much blowby to speak of. When I fixed that starter and it got more oompf, she even starts rather quick. Think I will heed your advice and let her dig some trenches in the spring, that'll fix the smoking I reckon 😊

Hey O-bee-gee, why'd you make me come looking for you? How are you doing? A friend you haven't met yet from Scotland is hoping you are okay.

Dear LLD 😉. "Alive and kicking", some "snags" arose and took most of my attention. There were suddenly little time for films. Would be great to one day meet that Highlander, and maybe discuss tractors over a Laphroaig or a pint or two. Cheers :)

@@realoldbeardedguy I'm very pleased to hear you are alive and kicking. Snags are an unwelcome visitor as we age. I'm having a wee waltz with blood cancer but I think I'm leading the dance just now. Medication means no alcohol now for me but I'd gladly buy you a large Highland Park 12y.o to wash away the taste of the paraffin you prefer to drink....

That engine is perfectly healthy if starts that easy, it would be a waste of money to rebuild a good engine..
