I remember B5 because I'm from that generation. I thought they would have gotten much bigger but just like everyone has said. Being under Diddy was the kiss of death for them. Seems like careers were stifled with Diddy in charge. Mary J was one of the lucky ones who was able to go her own route and now she's the Queen of hip hop soul and will forever be known as such because she has the hits to back it up. It's good to see that B5 are still together and doing what they love.

Truth be told, they were far more talented than B2K BUT B2k just had the bigger and better songs which is what matters. Nah, if you compared how they were taught how to be, it was 100% based after the Jackson 5. Just look up their old interviews and see just how Diddy created the narrative around them… and you can actually see the manipulation & mistreatment as the years went on, close to the time the changed to Audio. There’s sooo much that is as fans have to go back and really see. But yes, they were created entirely just to be the next Jackson 5. Not only from their dancing and clothes, but also to hairstyles, singing and maybe even lifestyle. It just couldn’t stick because the times were changing and the boys were getting older, so that means, their voices are going to change, their ideas are going to change, and their interests, and everything else is going to change. When this all started to happen, Diddy gave up on them and stopped marketing them the way he used to. He was going to boost B5 the way he did B2K but ya.. we know how Diddy roles. I have been a fan of B5 ever since I saw their first music video on 106 & Park and it is sad hearing how they have also been wronged by Diddy. The industry has a lot of wolves in sheep's clothing and once they sink their claws into uprising and potential talents, it destroys people while those pulling the strings behind the scenes get away with it. Diddy for sure is one of the worst and needs to be imprisoned.
