Hi, when we issue invoices, the invoice date is always based on the delivery date. So does that mean that after implementation of e-invoicing we can no longer future date the invoice? Example for export sales, our term to customer is based on CIF Hong Kong, so the invoice is definitely future dated, ie we created the invoice on 25/2/24 but the date of the invoice would be the ETA date, 15/3/24.

Yes, e-Invoice no longer back date or future date. Now is time you discuss with customer get make the necessary changes.

@@syntaxtechnologies but why cant we future date the invoice though? lets say I created the invoice on 28/2 but date is on 1/3, cant I submit the invoice to LHDN on 1/3?

@@MsLFC0705 As long as the Invoice Date and submission to LHDN is same date should be ok. But it still depend how individual software sync with LHDN.
