It shouldn’t shock you. Both companies can mention the rival brand by name only. It’s out of context because they are not technically “selling” a Wrestlemania event, Bryan referred to it as merely a figure of speech. Therefore what he said does not count as copyright infringement. Plus mentioning the name of the enemy is a good way to get extra views, clicks, bump up the ratings a little. It’s a smart marketing tactic that when executed correctly, benefits the promoter at hand. If you are a wrestling fan, I’d suggest to study the economics of the business.

It's very similar to how even in a "heel role" we all cheered Jericho, didn't change his promos, it just turned into a natural progression. AEW lets these things happen organically.
