😂I am 61 now and The Lord is really changing me now that I am a senior. But this music when I first became born again was so instrumental in my Christian life. God Bless you Bryan!

Reminiscing about meeting Bryan in early 90's after ministering to our 200+ youth @ statewide church summer camp in Las Vegas...New Mexico! Truly a tremendous blessing, so authentic, down to earth then and now! We love you, Bryan...sending heartfelt gratitude to you and yours for the many years of faithful devotion to our Lord Jesus! ❤

My husband and I talk all the time of how much we miss this type of Christian music. Back in the 90s we went to all the shows within a 50 mile radius. Brian Duncan, 4 Him, Steven Curtis Chapman, Margaret Becker, Ashton, Jeff Moore- the list goes long. I was a brand new Christian then and this music spoke to my heart so much and helped me get to know Jesus is such a real way. How we would love to see you guys in concert again

i met Bryan at a concert in 1996, I believe, in the Columbus OH area. I brought an album sleeve from the Sweet Comfort Band, and through the throngs of younger fans I caught his attention and got his autograph. He seems every bit as upbeat and joyful as he was back then. Thanks, Bryan, for all you've allowed the Lord to do through your music. I still love it and praise the Lord through it and for it!!

I accepted Christ in 1990 in Seattle at a Bryan Duncan/ Crystal Lewis concert. He'll ALWAYS have a special place in my heart.

Bryan is such an honest and fun guy. Had the pleasure of having him at our little church in Texas back in 2014, and he's a hoot. I had been a fan for many years, and me, being his age and being a singer/songwriter as well, I really related to him, albeit I never had the success he's had. I still think he's one of the best singer/songwriters in the business. I don't know how you keep your vocal chops like he does but he's amazing.

My all time favorite BD album was Lunatic Friend! Absolute genius and sincerity just pours out of every song on that collection! “We all need” still gets me to this day!

I loved this! The first songs on my Christian playlist are Bryan! Your songs are amazing even if you think they aren’t “Jesus” enough. One of my FAVORITES is “Blessed Are The Tears”. Sing that one in your church! ❤

I am so glad to hear someone talk about the songs I grew up on and how the current Christian music no longer covers real life struggles and overcoming. Thank you, Andy, for saying it.

Love this interview with Bryan. I had a fun X/Twitter conversation with him recently. He’s real, insightful, fun and accessible. Love his podcast. He’s so funny and gifted. I’ve shared his music with my grandchildren and they love it!

Part of my favorite song of his. Joy! (Joy is) Is a singable thing Sho' worth singin' about Not peace, mm It's not happiness It must be somethin' rolled up in between Not sure but I do know What I get when I live my life clean I ain't got, no, all the answers, no This feelin' makes a singer of me, yeah It's true I can't explain it Oh and I've got to have it, yo! Throws a light on a shadow of doubt Joy! ... Can't imagine it'd be too hard to have it When you're hangin' with the heavenly host, no, no, no, no, oh, oh But when I'm out there facin' down my troubles Well, I don't mind a present from the Holy Ghost

I saw SCB twice in Kc at my church. Probably around 1973. I thought they were so cool. I first saw a group called good news circle that proved there could be music for k Teens and then SCB. It was crazy how good they were. I then followed Brian for most of his career. Grea to hear him. Andy you should go for some of the older artists. Before it’s too late. Oden Fong. Daniel Amos. Evie. Honey tree. Some before your time but those interviews could be pretty cool The system was probably all on a real budget. I don’t mention some of the bigger names like randy stonehill and love song only because there is more background on them but they could be good too

As soon as he said he was the son of a penecostal preacher I knew he was whacked. 🤣 i’m just kidding Bryan, in fact I am grateful that you are very real and I love your sense of humor. I can tell you’ve been through some rough times, Peace of Christ to you.

So far, a relative handful of viewers have enjoyed these conversations and each is a gift for those of us who appreciate the players and participants in the CCM scene through the decades. And as a fellow viewer, I appreciate that you are watching and wondering what was what with all of it and perhaps recalling your own place in the experience or movement or whatever it meant to you. Yet I think it is unreasonable to say Andy interrupts guests to talk about himself. He is the gent who is making it happen and guests like Bryan wouldn't converse with him if they thought he'd be rambling about himself and making it about himself. And in this chat, Bryan gives out his contact information, so if you'd like him to answer a question or two, it'd be reasonable to ask him on his platform. Just don't be surprised if he does a few fifty-yard sprints into the audience first. 😀
