It was late one Friday evening, many years back and I can remember being sat at an airport bar. I was born in the mid-fifties, so the 70´s rock bands became the biggest influencers in my formative years and that never really goes away. But, certainly, I find the best of the eighties stuff unbelievably nostalgic. This one is as good as it gets. Thanks for posting.

Ah good memories! I have sometimes wondered if my 80’s childhood was good or just bliss in the midst of ignorance. I lived with my mother and Doberman on a council estate in Manchester. Even though my mother worked all hour’s money was tight to say the least. We had four TV channels and I had my Commodore 64. The music and great TV shows kept us going. In comparison to the modern life of today, I would happily return to the 80’s in a heartbeat.
