This song came out in 1985, I was 25 years old. Still sounds just as amazing in 2024 as it did back then. I have to say life was so much simpler than the crazy way it is now. And I absolutely think the music was so much better too. No cell phones no Internet, no social media.

All of you, the children of the 80s. You who, like me, experienced an extraordinary era. Remember this explosion of music, this carefreeness.. Never again will we experience this, but it remains alive in us... It's our heritage...

I was born in the mid-fifties, so the 70´s rock bands became the biggest influencers in my formative years and that never really goes away. But, certainly, I find the best of the eighties stuff unbelievably nostalgic. This one is as good as it gets. Thanks for posting.

Born in 1985, 80s music is what touches me the most. I think my generation partially and the ones that followed were somewhat ruined culturally by the digital revolution. Apart from climate awareness, it was mostly downhill.

Very well put, and very eloquent. I won't go into it all just now cos we could talk about it forever, but music is dead now and this is where real music was at. The 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's will always be the era of REAL music. Real talent, style, flair, creativity and basically the whole package. Thank God for the music side of KZbin. Music may be done now, but it means nothing cos we will forever have our pick, whenever we like, of any and all the best music ever made!

Great song, great performance, tasty video. Can't get bored listening to it, after so many years, actually, decades! Wondering what the "(c)rap fans" will recall and listen in 10, 20 30, 40 years? No melody, no music, no lyrics, just "frack", "shirt", "fat arse", "biitch", bluh-bluh?

Ah good memories! I have sometimes wondered if my 80’s childhood was good or just bliss in the midst of ignorance. I lived with my mother and Doberman on a council estate in Manchester. Even though my mother worked all hour’s money was tight to say the least. We had four TV channels and I had my Commodore 64. The music and great TV shows kept us going. In comparison to the modern life of today, I would happily return to the 80’s in a heartbeat.

Don't stop, don't stop the dance No more music Don't stop the dance Don't stop, don't stop the dance Mama says, "Only stormy weather Don't know why there's no sun in the sky" Footsteps in the dark come together Got to keep on moving or I will die Don't stop, don't stop the dance No more music Don't stop the dance Don't stop, don't stop the dance No more music Don't stop the dance Don't stop, don't stop the dance
