In Italy WWE just lost its contract with the cable television Sky Sports that offered both the live version of Raw and Smackdown on monday night and friday night plus the doubled version the next day around 7pm, now they will only air on free tv with a 5 days delay on a 11pm time slot with the original live shows being available only on demand and no PPVs. This news is important becasue a decade ago wrestling here in Italy was red hot and we even had some wwe tapings (the ones which Santino won the IC title) and 10 years later WWE lost all of its appeal because of what many deem as a cartoonish product. If they were to put the right amount of attention on the wrestling business now, it might be a very damaging blow. And don't forget, Vince McMahon and his family are tied to the President of the United States of America himself. They might actually be the one to cause the most problems and yet to pay the less consequences for it. They already have a bad reputation but they have money, a cult-like following, political protection and resources to survive yet again even through hard times. But the smaller companies and even AEW might not be as lucky.
