For the record, Brian Pillman had already shown up in ECW by the time Uncensored '96 came around. Pillman "respected the bookerman" and got "fired" the next day by WCW (supposedly as a plan for Pillman to tighten up his Loose Cannon gimmick, he would spend some time in ECW before coming back to WCW as the biggest heel in the company. He never came back to WCW). The next weekend, he appeared at ECW Cyberslam '96. He got into an auto accident in April and signed a fully guaranteed contract with WWF in June.

I wish they highlighted the Sting/Booker T promo, where Book is like "it's gonna on like neckbone etc." and the whitest of whitebread babyface Sting interjects with his understanding of Street Talk. I died with laughter hearing that, and seeing Booker just speed past what Sting said while trying not to sigh deeply and rub his forehead.

Ah, the Doomsday Cage Match. What a clusterfuck of a match that was. One of the best examples of "so bad, it's good" in mid-90's pro wrestling, which itself was full of "so bad, it's good" stuff. Except for the fact the Ultimate Solution was at first going to be called the "Final Solution" (probably don't need to explain why they changed their minds on that).
@christophernicholson205 жыл бұрын

How did all 3 of them not get that Flair was passing the key down to Sullivan so he could unlock the door between him and the faces of fear? I’m pretty sure they said as much on commentary and showed the key through every step. Though the best was how long it took Hogan to lock that damn door.

The Mega Powers vs The Horsemen, The Dungeon of Doom, Zeus and Bane. They fought two factions and two stars of film/wrestlers. Wow... just wow.
