Agree with you, The Bryans Clock wasn't a machine to win much on. You can see why every arcade and fair had at least one. They took money. I remember to visit my grandmother my mother used to take me through our fair when it was visiting and this particular Saturday afternoon mum put a penny in a jackpot clock. I was small and my face was level with the payout . Both hands landed together on 12 o'clock and it paid 24 pennies right by my ear hole ! Never happened to me since.

Andrew Smith there are 12 winning positions and 60 Losing positions, So it's one in six chance of winning, although the win could be a 12d !
