Apparently, they had 30 minutes until they had to be on stage. It is crucial that you warm up before you go on. Especially if you're playing 45 minutes or long. I'm sure Zacky was like "I gotta go get ready, I can't waste my time with someone who can't hold a professional interview." Syn was just trying to be nice, probably drunk and not giving a fuck, just being short to try and throw a hint that he has to go prepare for the show that is in less than half an hour. Nothing against Brian, he's matured as an interviewer, but there's a reason why you have to go through a band's record labels to interview a band at Sevenfold's level. They prefer exclusive interviews. Ones that will win over a lot press. They don't have time for something that comes off like a school project. Maybe it would've turned out better if he had interviewed them hours before they had to put forth their all to thousands and thousands of fans. People make mistakes. Just gotta understand that this is their day job, and you can't interfere with someone who's trying to excel in their profession.
