So one thing I noticed on here is that you have a tendency to treat this like a multiplayer game. You forget that AI can control all of its units all across the map at the exact same time. Or in such rapid speed that it might as well be at the same time. Running at a lower speed allow you more reaction time. There were several times where had you exercised a little bit more caution and took the time to think through your actions You would have suffered a lot less losses. The AI is not going to tactically select certain units to attack in order of priority. It's going to attack whatever comes across first. You are brilliant in multiplayer. Campaign is a little bit different. That's why you're having some difficulty adapting. It's kind of interesting at the beginning of the game it said that the snipers will not auto attack that you have to designate each target. Which is good cuz that's what you worked with when you were attacking the president's mind control. It's actually perfect that you used the controlled attack using the waypoint system. It would not have hurt to just straight up kill the power first then use the designated targets so you didn't get hit by that prism tower. Running at a higher speed was to your disadvantage because your reaction is never going to be as fast as the AI.

Seems like having multiplayer skillz is not indicative of campaign skillz. What went wrong - not understanding how the game works outside of multiplayer. The way you used save load feature - would allow you to play more carelessly so you didn't have to use the waypoint anyway - the timing was never about coordinating the spy and sniper - just get the spy in first. Your elite sniper should have enough ROF to manually select and snipe the conscripts and Yuri yet not enough ROF to auto-target the President. Maybe go Mirages instead of Grizzly during that mad rush. AIs are stupid enough to miss Mirages. Ooops- you don't have Mirage Tanks in this level. Yes, the level was hard, and credits goes to you for defending successfully, though there's some more room for improvements. As a self-challenge and practice, you could perhaps keep that saved game just when you saved the President, and attempt to redo the defending over and over again. I think your reaction speed is ok. But there was enough allowance time from when you saved the President to when the waves arrive for you to prep defences. I personally would have "bolstered the prism towers". Pump out GIs from the barracks, position them to hug the Prism Towers, so when the tanks breached the wall at 11:33, they shoot the GIs first before the Prism Towers. Mix some GGIs in behind the GIs. The Prism Towers and GGIs hence live longer as they have GIs as meat shields. Within that time maybe even a few more Prism Towers can be popped up.
