I just went here a month ago and let me just say this was something to behold. I have never seen a scenery this impressive and jaw dropping in my entire life back here in California in all my 20 years of life. This just makes me even more proud of being in America and having all these dozens of national parks that no other country has and that I have yet to visit so to everyone watching, it is worth the visit.

My wife and I visited Zion Park and Bryce Canyon in late December of 2010. We had been to Zion before but in early October of 2007, but it was our first time to Bryce canyon. I liked the winter time best. The colors were magnificent with the covering of white snow.

I live in Southern Utah and often take the diverse landscapes for granted since I see them so often but I love seeing them through the artistic eyes of photographers and new visitors who have never seen such unique formations and canyons. Thanks for the effort and talent in putting together this sublime video. You showcase Bryce beautifully and hopefully foster a desire to see this in person and protect this lovely strange landscape.

Thanks for the memories. I visited Bryce several years ago.
So beautiful. Aside from the aesthetics, the way it forms is interesting. Combinations of wind, rain, temperature fluctuations combined with varying hardness of the rock layers create a stunning place, and these combination of forces seem to be unique to America.

It is so interesting to see how in a relatively small area in Southern Utah so many stunning and different rock formations have appeared, sometimes very close to each other and still very distinct...
@StereoSpace5 жыл бұрын
@@milosh9k My guess is because southeast Utah is at the intersection of three different physiographic regions: the Basin and Range to the west, the Colorado Plateau to the south, and the Rocky Mountains to the east and north. In addition, with the coming and going of the ice ages in the last few million years, it has experienced dramatically different climates, and specifically to Bryce Canyon here, this is the now eroded floor of a vast Cretaceous age lake. We are blessed, you might say, to live at a time and place where we can see these wonders before time and nature erode them away.

You should watch his videos on arches national park and zion national park. Utah has 5 of the 50ish national parks. Says something. I think it's only behind California and Alaska for the most per state, which land area wise those are significantly larger. Utah definitely has the most densely packed together national parks. I've been to all except for Bryce Canyon. Arches is my favorite, followed by Zion.
