Lukenix also, I don’t dislike the Washington fan base, but the Philly fans care sooooo much more about sports. Just look at the Eagles players, they take like 6 pay-cuts every offseason because they’d rather win in Philly, instead of somewhere else. Players love the atmosphere here. Philly fans can be sour, but that’s because we’re actually passionate

@@teddytesticles7761 actually i DID go to college, and I'll put my degree against yours any day. Just because it's "bad trend" as you call it doesn't mean it's not the usual in interviews. Bryce had zero time to prep for interview, had no idea what question was coming. So instead of hearing the question then starting blankley ahead for a few seconds, he's thinking on his toes and speaking as soon as words come to his mind. I guarantee if i sat with you, just asking random and unconnected questions that youd say "uhh" or "ummm" a few times too. At the end of the day, do you watch baseball for SPEECH related moments? Or do you watch to be entertained by a great game? Stop thinking all athletes have a college education and are just so highly intelligent. They are just athletes. Bryce actually dropped out of HS and struggled to get his GED, so why are you expecting him to speak with the polish of a professional speaker??? Why not just realize "he's not a highly intelligent guy, just happens to be good at baseball". Once you take people for what they are you tend to not be as disappointed. But im sure you're perfect, right? Gtfoh

You say Phillies only made u feel that way by how Middleton talked to u, so u choose them. But our fans team city of San Francisco would stick with u no matter what. The entire SF Giants family. Look we have for Bumgarner the person n not just the player n Posey as well look how good the fans the city is with them as not just players, but human beings outside of baseball. SF Giants r passionate as can be. Never turn on u boo u nothing period. If u honestly meant that about Posey n entire SF Giants team, fan base n I know u do, cuz u said it in this interview n on Twitter a few other times of what a great organization Giants r u love the city n can’t wait to play in SF u wouldn’t of been a hypocrite n even bothered with the Phillies period. It don’t make sense cuz if it was money n I don’t c y, it wasn’t that much of a difference u would of got with SF then Phillie only couple million less cuz of California taxes still would of been a lot of money for 12 year 310 million was Giants offer. Still a lot a lot of money per year after California taxes. SF Giants family, fan base is way better then the Phillies n ur going to find that out the hard way Bryce Harper. U lied to a lot of ppl too as well. A true man is honest n keeps his word. You didn’t keep ur word n u weren’t honest so I want u to live with that, knowing u weren’t honest n didn’t keep ur word by signing with the Phillies. Go SF Giants!

Phillies fans lucky, as a SD fan myself I’m lil nervous of manny. But I hope he has the same mindset and loyalty as Harper for years to come.

He’s matured but I really still believe he didn’t want to win right away. Philly is a year or two away from seriously competing for a World Series. If he wanted to win he would’ve gone to LA

Jerry Traveler ya money is not the problem. If a player deserves the money than pay them. But I think that all double digit contracts should have opt outs by default.

BOSTON2001 baseball is a business, and players work for the team. Not the other way around, opt outs automatically is stupid.

Travis F well then by your logic their stupid not to have default opt outs, because then a player can decide that he does not want to be productive at all and he can still get paid (example:Chris Davis).
@travis6694

BOSTON2001 are you talking about player opt outs or team opt outs? If a player decides to check out mentally then maybe some type of team opt out could happen.

@@travis6694 Teams should have the ability after a certain amount of years to buy out the player and have them leave the team for double digit contracts.
