i've watched 5-6 different opinion videos on the joint practice and this is the first time I heard the Eagles offensive line didn't do well. I know they blitz Jalen a few times and they even got a couple sacks, but no turnovers and everyone's been saying that we dominated the Patriots. My only thing about this whole Haason Reddick thing is YES he is great at getting to the QB and at his position that is his main job and what he gets paid to do…..BUT he has also shown that he can not cover which is what the scheme asked for last year and that’s what Vics scheme asks bec they are looked at as outside linebackers where you rush the passer and drop in coverage from time to time. So nothing against Hass but he is only good at one thing and a liability dripping back and at stopping the run then he is not a good fit for our defense. Also hearing that he went rogue at times last year and didn’t follow scheme and was stat chasing also makes me feel ok with the fact that he isn’t here anymore.

I’m of the camp that you let players do what they are good at. And rather than force them to do things they aren’t good at this year, we went and got guys who could do both, maybe not as well, but who should sure up the coverage aspect of the position of OLB. Huff Nolan and Jalyx especially should be good in coverage and rushing the passer.

Haason does one thing well and thats rush the passer other then that he is not good at stoping the run or dropping into coverage. His first year i think Gannons scheme fit him and it worked deseai came in and wanted his edge rushers to drop into coverage reddick didnt like that and would play selfish ball and go rogue. Now they have Vic who also wants more from his edge guys and let reddick go and its bec Vic prob said so. Nolan fits the scheme bec he played coverage a lot in collage and was pretty good at it. Hunt is a low risk high reward guy. Played safety and transitioned to edge. If he can develop into a pass rushers sky is the limit. Huff i think was ok in coverage think he will be more of a JACK LB rushing 90% of the time dropping back 10%. Same with Sweat. Id be surprised if sweat takes a back seat this year and used like he was two years ago and comes in on passing situations.
