2nd play was really good for breaking down , his eyes were everything in that play , the corner did a better job having to make him force a throw , he did have that little check down for a couple of yards which is better than the interception

In your first example, the guy isn't wide open. The safety can easily cover the distance needed. A more accurate criticism would be why did he break out to his left when he could have picked up easy yardage right down the middle with his rb blocking for him.

His best attribute is his arm talent, not his legs. Stop using the narrative that African American QB's are just athletes. Bryce can make every throw with EASE! Kid can easily throw the ball 70+ yards.

Bryce Underwood not only will start game 1 but hes going to successful as a tfrosh. Michigan is building the run game to protect him in yr 1. The only time guys with this much talent dont start in year 1 is when they have a first round pick and incumbent starter in front of them, thats it. People using Raolia as guide is crazy because Raolia ia a statue which means he has to process Bryce has mobility that he can pull out and use anytime he wants. They're both 5 stars, yes, but they're on 2 different planets talent wise. I understand people wanting to be cautious with their year 1 predictions but this kid is going to be special right out the box. I mean he throws 35 yard lasers hitting guys in stride something even drafted players struggle with. Did i mention hes 6'5 and can run like the wind? I would be shocked if Keene doesnt hit the portal after spring and if he doesn't that means his NIL package makes staying worth the risk.

First play was not a bad play it was just a miss read on the d line. He thought the DT was protruding that’s why he slid out of the pocket. In college it would have been a hurry or sack because he went right towards the D End. But he still made the play. That’s what you want to see. When you make mis reads you still make plays or at least not loss yards or turn the ball over. This is not a bad play.

This is a great analysis. How is the first play a bad play? he completed the pass. it was a check down pass. second pass was bad. 3rd team (Howell) won a state championship. their schedule was hard. They played Clarkston (Michigan helmet) and they won a state championship. Bryce won 2 state championships. and he has 12,000 yards. He could have won 3 . Hes insane.

@@brentthebloodhound The first play was used to show how I feel he abandons the pocket too early, if you watch the entire play if he steps up in the pocket he has a wide open touchdown to the outside receiver it’s a very small detail but you kinda have to nitpick a bit when scouting these 5 stars

IMO I don’t think the 2nd play is bad just great understanding by the corner to know he has help over top and know he will be able to break off 1 to jump 2. Now the flat is the Easy pass to make on 1st down. But you can’t be completely mad for a DB understanding the game. But great breakdown nonetheless💯‼️

No, I think the criticism of his throwing is nuts. His pocket presence and footwork are going to have to evolve to the college level, like any QB. He might even be hindered by his success like Shaddeur Sanders and try to do too much that worked in high school that doesn't work in college. If he can humble himself, he's going to have the best football minds in the world teaching him to read defenses.
