I don’t think Bruce Young’s career is over. We still have a long season and we don’t have a backup in case Dalton gets injured. Yes, Dalton is the better QB no doubt and I knew that myself with him being a veteran he would win games, but if Bryce can learn from Dalton and pick plays from him, I say we keep him to see if he progresses.

@JMoney980 idk why people don’t think realistically like this and quick to end this young man’s career after one full year in the NFL and had no stability since drafted is ridiculous. When we as people who work regular jobs enter a different level of profession we train under veterans to get a good feel of what the flow is and to get comfortable in our position. Why these babies who aren’t/barely legal to drink hold so much expectation and have to come in straight from college level and lead/carry a team on a professional level? It’s not right. Not everyone can physically and MENTALLY do that without experience.

@@Tm24-k true. In Bryce’s defense, he acknowledges he’s doing bad and he needs to do better. Bryce needs rhythm and learn how to make some trick plays. I would like to see Bryce do some pump fakes, rush a few times when there are no options and then learn how to throw outside the pocket more with accuracy. Carolina has the weapons but he needs to make it work with what he has at his disposal. When I see Bryce play, Most of his passes are predictable and I’m sure that’s why the defense picks it off so easily. Bryce Young, if you’re reading this, it’s not to discourage you, but hopefully give you ideas to make you better to show that you belong in this league.

@@JMoney980 right! Reasons why he needs to sit back, watch, and observe the vet and get pointers from him to succeed. It’s a different world in the NFL. College techniques not going to cut it and observing will give him a sense of what his teammates can do.

Jalen Hurts replaced Mac Jones after he was drafted by New England, Jalen Hurts and Tua played together until Jalen left and went to Oklahoma and afterwards was drafted by Philly, and Tua to Miami. Bryce Young then became the starter for Bama until he was drafted by the sad ass Panters who last year could have been beat by the same Alabama team Bryce Young came from.

He was sacked twice. Had good protection all game, but they had backup LG in since Damian Lewis could not finish the game. Raiders have some of the best pass rush in the NFL. Not a bad day for the oline

The o-line was ranked in the top 5 over the first 2 games and #1 overall last week in terms of protection. The o-line is NOT the problem, it was BY9. Besides, you must have forgotten Max Crosby on the other side of that o-line that they had to contend with. Plus, the Raiders have a pretty good defense.
