I think it may be because that Abby blatantly favored Brynn on the expense of everyone else including Kendall herself. Look at this face off, Brynn was literally set up to win in every way and Kendall was obviously set up by Abby or the producers to fail for Brynn to shine. Brynn got the better costume, better choreography, better music, better practice time, literally better everything Abby clearly set Brynn up to win and Kendall to fail, disregarding how good of a dancer both of them are Brynn was given everything someone needed to win this. Sure it's obviously not Brynn's fault but if i were Kendall, i would be very sour too, that person was the reason why I'm set up to fail.

Getting her a fancy costume while all the other girls had homemade or reused ones, buying Abby and Gia lavish gifts, putting down Nia and Paige to make Kendall look better... But she acts like she never did any of it. Not to mention, throughout the second season, she constantly felt the need to tell everyone that Kendall was just as good as Maddie and Chloe and tried to get Gia to move her into one of their spots. Then there's the fact that she always claims Kendall never had a special part, victimizing her. Even though Kendall got loads of opportunities from Abby, Jill acted like she was treated the worst out of everyone. And when Brynn came and got a solo or special role (because she was amazing) Jill flipped and thought Kendall was more deserving once again. Like, come on. I couldn't stand her. This season especially. What she did to Brynn was straight up abusive and people argue that it's fine because Ashlee talks bad about Kendall. It's not. Ahslee doesn't yell at Kendall like she's her own kid. Either way, both moms are wrong but I especially get annoyed with Jill.

Jill had serious delusions when it came to Kendall. Kendall was/is talented, but she wasnt on the other girls' level like that. Of course you can blame Abby for the subpar teaching at times, but Kendall religiously ignored corrections and some issues (like her posture) lasted the entire season. Brynn was just naturally more talented, even though her mother was nuts.

She would've told any other kid to save their tears for the pillow. And I get that Kendall has anxiety, but her attitude is not caused by that, so it isn't an excuse for her to act a certain way. Abby did show some favoritism to Kendall. Trying to make her the next Maddie, shooting her video, etc. And it's hilarious how Jill said that her kid always gets jazz when Kendall got so many lyrical solos, some of them were even 'Maddie solos'.

She always begs for an opportunity for Kendall, and when Abby gives it to her, they either don’t come 1st, it ends in crying, Abby yells at Jill, Jill says it’s too much pressure on Kendall, and Jill says she’ll leave Kendall truly is a beautiful dancer, but I think Jill forced her to dance too much, and she was given too little time to rehearse. Even in Broadway shows, any cast member would given at least 3 weeks to rehearse, even though there are more dances, that time can be organised well.
