if anyone wants to know what they were talking about without getting headache its basically this: The Subject: Bryson's lead arm at impact. The Problem: the crease that separates the forearm and bicep was pointed in front of him at impact, which caused inconsistencies. The Solution: he twisted that arm in a locking position which then made that same crease pointed at his stomach at impact, making the ball way less likely to go left. hope that helps 👍

Ohhh yes, this was AWESOME and SUPER IMPORTANT! Most people are too dumb and lazy to try to understand the technical biomechanical lexicon. "End range of motion with ulnar deviation" is one of the major things I've recently been doing to produce the most consistent shots across my whole bag, and especially under pressure when I get overly quick. Just figured that out a few months ago. And now I suddenly have some biomechanical language and concepts to describe what I've been doing. This is going to be a good year!

Bro... people fear a little homework and technical terms so much they will just keep hacking the ball to shit. Screw that. I love to hit great shots. the internal rotation of the elbow to keep from pulling the ball is genius. I am taking that to the next practice session. I switched to single plane last summer and became a student of Moe Norman and Bryson, and it's beginning to make sense. I love this video it went into my practice playlist.

I think he was using these great names as a comparison for what BDC is attempting to achieve with his swing rather than comparing the ability at the moment. New bodies need time to adjust, Onoku below me gives him one year, I reckon he needs two. 1 Offseason to build the body, 1 season to figure out kinks, 2nd offseason to iron out the kinks 2nd season to put everything into motion

As a PGA Life Member Club Professional, it's what you can do not do. Mo Norman, Nicklaus, Trevino, Bryson etc. etc. that's how they do it. Mo Norman said it best when asked if someone should swing like him. No they can't, everyone wants to do what somebody else does. I great player OWNS his or her swing and will be different than anybody else.

Ya they do but he’s not on steroids he is exactly what it looks like when a grown man gains muscle... they need more fat. I played baseball with a lot of people who took steroids in the minor leagues and you don’t get fat you gain weight all muscle and lose fat and that’s impossible for a fully developed man to do. So the huge tell is someone who gained weight and has rock hard dd tits and huge arms and neck. He’s not on roids
@ftnirish74
@ftnirish74 4 жыл бұрын
@@Terriblegolfer16 I hear ya. But keep in mind, steroids are in the past. TRT is what the vast majority of athletes are doing now. Nearly undetectable and easily obtained thru a medical physician. Mix TRT with HGH and insulin, and you have a golfer gain 30 lbs in 3 months of COVID Q. Take a look at the body transformation Charles Howell III had a few years back. Over a 2 month off season looked like an MMA fighter. Now look at him. Cycle on, cycle off. Time will tell for Bryson. Give him credit, he's a helluva golfer.
@Terriblegolfer16
@Terriblegolfer16 4 жыл бұрын
ftnirish74 ya Charles Howell is way different he didn’t get fatter and got bigger that’s steroids. Bryson got fatter that’s natural. And you forget it’s always been easy to get a prescription that’s what a lot of mma fighters do and what lance armstrong did. Adding more testosterone is gonna make you bigger without fat still. Trust me dude I’ve seen all types of steroids and what people transform into literally hundreds and I guarantee you Bryson isn’t on roids. If he ate as much as he right now to get fatter while working out like that and on roids he’d be double his size and not be near as fat

Ben Hogan, Lee Trevino and Jack Nicklaus golf swings were more consistently repeatable because they knew to control their hands, each and every swing. Sam Snead told Moe Norman that he had the best pair of hands he had ever seen. WHY? Because more than 80% of the neurons in the motor cortex are devoted to our face and hands. Trying to decipher any complex chain action movement by biomechanics alone is navigating a room in the dark. "end of range of motion potential", "anatomical governors" is trumped by the cortical homunculus, the true governor of complex human motion. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aIuXY2hjeK2MZ8U 6:37-12:75
